I just recently finished the Legend of Korra videogame and it was awesome and reminded me of how much I miss this show.The story isn't that great but the bending and probending is absolutely worth it. And the Avatar State is something I wish was in the series.
Anyway it's been quite some time since I drew anything Avatar related.
The Avatar series belongs to Bryke.

This is all kinds of epic and beautiful. A great showcase of the power and unity, that is the avatar state.

A wonderful way to give a sense of continuity to a portrait. There's a certain evocation of Buddhist imagery as well in a semi-divine figure seeming to have many arms, which is fairly fitting given the show's roots.

I really love this piece because it both feels like the characters are dancing and fighting at the same time. They're all so graceful, peaceful and powerful! This is really a beautiful illustration of the avatar state!
