I actually didn't caught this little tidbit until my second time reading the book, but when I did, I knew I had to draw it.
Oh yeah, new designs for both Arty and Holly. Holly's long hair just bugged me.

Lol xD "Holly was probing him." That sounds lovely. And also, I first thought they were dudes and went like "W00T, KLARO'S DRAWN SLASH! SHE'S FINALLY COME TO HER SENSES!" and then like oh. Yeah. AF. xD But honestly, it is really pretty. They look beautiful and lovey-dovey. Love the hands and hair.

And alas, no. No slash. I really, really should draw some though. I have so many sketches, but nothing ever turns out good. And aah, the hands. I hate hands. I really do. If I didn't use them so much, I'd cut off my own.

I'd forgotten about this scene. I'd remembered that she checked him for magic, but not how.
I like this Holly design. Except maybe the nose, it looks like you're going for 'button' when canon is 'hooked' but the fact I'm nit-picking the nose when ridiculous numbers of fanartists draw her with pale skin and much longer hair than is canon (and unlike the skin colour, which is literally only mentioned once, we're told about her hair in nearly every book, so I don't get why people don't get the concepts of 'crew cut', and 'inch-long'

I always miss the best scenes/lines somehow. I also missed "I couldn't do without you" the first time round.
As for Holly's nose, I actually didn't know that, even! My strongest recollection of her appearance being described is her being "pointy", so I just went with that. And yeah, I used to draw her with a bit longer hair, I really dunna why, probably because it's easier and I'd just read the graphic novel, but yeah, I've also always imagined her with short hair, so the inch-long-hair bugs me too
