So this one didn't come out the way I wanted it to, it came out allot different. Thank Kurt for the nice Satanic Bible, covering my girlie parts, touch. I love my seamed stockings, really trying to get a bit more into pin-up, please Critique this, other than the obvious (lighting, blown out, etc, etc). Pose, expression, etc. critique would be wonderful.Edit: I have cleaned and uploaded a new version of this, I was unhappy with the first.

My only really problem is I would have preferred to see more of the back of the leg, showing off the seamed stocking. I would have pushed your body back more, more like you were sitting in a high backed chair, as you look like you are leaning forward a bit much.

I *personally* feel that the facial expression and body laguage don't agree with each other all that well. It's kind of awkward I'm getting 2 different signals from the face and the body. That's just my opinion however don't take it too seriously.... I really don't know what it is you're going at in this. I get a tense feel from the body and a more distant yet playful feel from the face but I'm no pro or anything. I like the shoe hanging off the foot but it dosn't stand out as much because the leg seems a bit too tense. I hope I haven't waisted your time with my ramblings. I'm in a bit of an artistic struggle right now....

I agree - light badly needs to be diffused. Actually, a single continuous light source with a reflector might give the pic more of a dark, moody feel. Also pick up some more color and texture of those stockings.
Also, the composition is a little cramped - is this cropped? Too much of the figure is getting cut off, IMO.
Finally, although the Satanic bible is a nice touch...well, I hate to reveal myself to be the drooling pervert that I am, but you should lose the book, or get it out of the way. And move the arm up - let's see those legs!
Also, there's a distracting reflection on the book - I would PShop it out.

Agreed about the light, I just can't seem to get this hotlights working properly. The composition does in fact need work, I was at a bit of a funny angle.

Try setting them back a ways and using a slower shutter speed - I hate tripods, but sometimes you got no choice.
Or get some (heat-resistant) fabric to use as a diffuser.

I really like this image. The shadow on the wall looks great and there's nothing that I'd change about your pose or expression. The only thing I'd suggest would be to perhaps diffuse the light a little (even an empty margarine tub over the flash works wonders) to stop the harsh reflection on the book - if the Satanic Bible is gonna be in there, it should be nice and clear.
Glad to see you're having fun with your new camera - the stuff you've been uploading lately is really beautiful.
