I really love Macross: Do You Remember Love - it's basically Macross in movie format where the animators had the time and funding to do everything better than in the weekly series.

I hate all of the music in Robotech with a burning passion (that woman they got can't even sing, she's off tune like half the time) but I agree that "My Boyfriend is a Pilot" didn't work for this scene in the series. But "Do You Remember Love?" is a great song and I love this scene in DYRL
