This is an interesting render, i like the modeling if its not Archmodels or Dosh Designs furniture. For the lighting and textures, i would ad a bit of blue lights at the window frames and a the far wall or give it some photo filter with Deep blue settings. Also, lower down the reds and the blues for the folders. Monitor is a bit to noisy, otherwise its a perfect image

You should have used photoshop to cheat on that .

what do u mean with cheat on that ? ???

MaJoRoesch In reply to cuatrod [2006-06-17 19:35:49 +0000 UTC]
Easy. After you render it, you use the smudge, blur, and other such tools to make certain flaws in your work disappear. It's a very common tactic.

I doubt you would need one. In photoshop, gimp, or anything other advanced 2d graphics program, select the smudge tool, set it small and fuzzy (depending on the detail and size of what you are doing), and smudge the pixelation away. It's very easy. Another trick is to use the Polygonal Lasso Tool (fancy name for a selection tool that you build a box or other shape based on where you click) and select a part of the render that is pixelated. Then you copy/paste it, select a border around it (ctr-A then nudge it with the arrow keys then nudge it back again), the use a guassian blur (or just a blur, depending on what program you are using). This can leave pixelation around the edges though.
I'm sorry, I stink at explaining things...
