My brother and I backed this game on Kickstarter when it was announced, it recently released and definitely deserves some fan art!I had the Subcon Forest scooter theme stuck in my head for quite a while, so I made that the theme of the artwork!

A MAJOR hats off to youΒ cubehero Β for making this.Β Honestly wish I could draw something as clean and grand as this in your hands, bravo.Β But even then its wonderful to see how much a hit this game is and personal cheers on you taking it in this wonderful direction with such a very foreboding sort of drawing.
This feels right in the mood for Halloween with the way you work out the elements of the light and dark and really giving only a small centerpiece to that of Hat Kid.Β You manage to sculpt out a lush and a touch spooky forest for her to explore with hew new scooter and I adore the way you can trace her driving through the road with the trail of dust behind her.
That's where I get into my fav part about this image is how you create such vibrant work of art that you have to zoom in to get the full gist of it.Β The tiny flowers that decorate alongside the road, the little light that shines in front of the scooter to even the neat glow up in the sky to the far left of the image sort of like fireflies or stars themselves!
Have so much to say about your handling of light and dark here but let's just say you are a damn PRO when it comes to knowing how to work your digital effects.Β And one more mention to Hat Kid with regards to how much you do make her stand out with the light of her skin aglow and even the cute Halloween sort of hat she has on, adorable!Β Really, really, really cannot wait to play this game.

Are you familiar with Super Mario 64? This game felt a bit like a love letter to it. It's a 3D platformer with exploration and item collection!

Ah I see. It's always such a joy to play games that pay homage to some of the best ones out there. I assume the protagonist has to save the world/kingdom from an encroaching evil? I admire that formula, it's short and simple.
