Description
After a day's work a few weeks ago, I finally have my own designed (rather than semi-randomly drawn as the others in my gallery) "Demonic Swordgirl" character, since it's probably no secret to anyone watching my work that I like those!
Armour plate arrangement might be subject to change since I'm not fully happy with it, but we'll see.
Her full name is Iayinne'zerethnai (At least currently), but she insists on shortening it to Iayin.
Partly inspired by Arnice from Yoru no nai Kuni!

OH she's really cute, and the armor design is really well done, it reminds her of an RPG character but not edgy.

I like her armor, although perhaps you could increase the contrast of the purple suit underneath ~ it all kinda blends into one shape and hides the detail in the armor. You should also work on shape sizes in the breast plate, they seem a bit too even.Β
The sword and her hair are really cool though! I love the sword's shape and the spikey details near the hilt ~ it looks very dark (in feel) and sharp! And the contrast against her her angelic white hair is especially pleasant to look at.Β

The greaves, bracers and pauldrons (as well as the plates on her hips, not sure what the correct term for those is) are probably the parts I am happier with, that's a good suggestion to keep in mind for any redesign to breastplate!
Her colour scheme was supposed to be a bit subdued, but I can kind of see what you mean. Maybe it's possible to play with the colours a little to improve contrast but keep the overall feel? I'll try to keep both suggestions in mind when I draw her again!
I'm glad you like the sword and hair! While it's probably not the most "unique" design, I do like the silhouette/shape of her blade.

It's made from a material that slightly glows in the presence of Demons and Devils, both of which she has in her bloodline, so yeah it should leave a bit of a trail, probably

interesting, that actually makes me wonder, is someone had a devil sealed in them lets say, would it glow to their presence or would the human mask it?

Iayin is half-Demon half-human, with Devil blood in her ancestry, so if it glows for her, it probably would!
Oh I got what you meant, due to the rules (she has a Pathfinder character sheet), she can actually set her sword ablaze three times per day for an attack, so it'd be even closer to that gif!
