Description
Pronghorn Antelope in WyomingTaken from Wikipedia.com:
The pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is the only surviving member of the family Antilocapridae, and the fastest land mammal in North America running at speeds of 61 mph (about 98 km/h) and the second-fastest land animal, second only to the cheetah. On or near F.E. Warren??.....I lived in Cheyenne in the '90s....A true albino fawn was born during that time, and was protected with extreme prejudice by Base Personell....I dont know what became of it though...Ted Nugent even stopped on his way through to try to veiw it....

We also call them 'speed-goats'....lol They will run along-side speeding vehicls for miles....their instincts are to not allow a predator to cross thier trail in front of them,...so they run....eventually attemting to sprint across in front of the predator/vehicle to stop them in thier tracks, since antelope are extremely sure-footed, they can change directions quickly and sharply. Usually the healthier ones will give the pradator the chase, to draw them away from the younger/older/slower members of the herd. I've also seen a buck come back to kick the shitt out of an exhausted wolf that was chasing him.....Very nice shot btw.....Where were you?? There are several places in this state that look like that....
