Description
In a similar, yet parallel universe:Mango: "Where am I?"
Durian: "We seem to be in another random dimension."
Mango: "Well jeez, what are we supposed to do now?"
Durian: "Now we PUYO PUYO!"
... quicky flatcolor of a sketch of Mango I did on the trip and inked with some random brush-tip pen thing I had on me. Will probably scrap later.
If you don't know what puyo puyo is, you might know it by puyo pop, Kirby's Avalanche, or Dr. Robotnik's mean mean machine(I think). Or you might have to kill yourself for never playing any of those. Alternatively, you could also look it up on wikipedia or try a ROM. In any case, don't ask me!
If I could find someone who knew how to program a simple puyo puyo game I would SO make a MiD Puyo Puyo

I'm a complete addict to that but the only thing I have for the good old emulator is Puyo POP/Minna de Puyo Puyo and Haro no Puyo Puyo. For the DS, all of the Fever games.

Good job! How do you work like this with vector, I can't do it so good like you! What kind of program do you use?
By the way, if you want I can try to do a Puyo-kind game using Game maker (actually I'm developing a Smash Bros. clone, and in the past I did a Kirby shooting game Asteroids-like), but it isn't easy and requires much time (I'll work on the engine of the game, you think about sprites and music, I have no idea how do you wanna do graphically, so you have to help me). Contact me if you want do it!

I didn't use vector at all for this pic o.o It was all done in pen. And then colored in photoshop.

The only real difficult thing would be the checks, like for colors and such, and even then it's not that tough to do... but should a big combo go off I'm left to question my method's capability o avoid slow-down... though brief...
I like teh Puyos, but only play in Fever mode anymore, because Endless lives up to it's name, but the CPU kicks me bum. >:
