This is all 's fault. D:<
Ruby Quest is a FREAKING EPIC choose-your-own-adventure-esque game that's been going on at the /tg/ board on 4chan. It is amazing and will "rape your mind", or something like that (4chan language, honestly). If you want to read the archives (and maybe participate in the next session),
CLICK HERE. 8D Though if you're going to read it, I would recommend not looking at this picture for too long, since it.. uhm... has a couple of spoilers...
Anyway- OH GOOD LORD. D8 This is the creepiest thing I've ever drawn. (It could probably give Santa Koh a run for its money, anyway.) But oddly enough, it was ridiculously fun to draw. I don't do group pictures very often.
I was going to add more little details (like the dried blood on Ruby's shirt), but once I got the base colours down on the background characters, I realized that I had totally mangled the flow of the picture by putting the white-coloured characters (Ace, Ruby, kinda Filbert) and the red ones (Red and Stitches) on the same sides of the picture, so it was all lopsided and crap. So I kind of gave up on details after that, since it was too late to change anything, and I just covered everyone with a creepy red haze instead. Yay!
I guess it pays to plot these things out beforehand. Lesson learned.
Also, I shouldn't have finished Ruby's third eye before starting the rest of the picture, because IT WAS STARING AT ME FOR LIKE SIX HOURS. D: AUGH.
If you have any critiques or advice about the composition, please let me know, because I really suck at composition and could really use some pointers.

This was done only partway into the story, so some of the characters might be a bit off. XD
In the foreground on the left is Filbert (and you know the rest in the front.)
And in the back, from left to right are Daisy (the dog monster), Stitches and Jay. (This was back before Jay was anything more than a creepy shadow. xD)

I cannot believe RubyQuest is over...
It was the most epic thing I had ever experienced, starting at the Z-room/stitches part, and then escelating to something beyond epic.
....However, when Weaver ended RQ, he did it in the best way he could've.(we won)
...And then the April Fools Ruby Quest came.
But now he has started something called 'WeaverQuest', but I can only find the first part on suptg.

i loved ruby quest, read the whole thing in one night and couldn't sleep i was so damn scared. but just gonna say this, i'm sure that the hound is actually another bunny, name: Daisy, there are actually a lot of chars in ruby quest, glad to see ace there though, you should check this out, gives a lot of insight [link]

I don't think I'd be able to read it all in one night. xD I kept getting distracted by the comments in between.
And "the hound" is Daisy, but I'm pretty sure she is a dog. For one thing, she doesn't have bunny ears (she has triangular hang-downy ears ), and all of the character names come from their Animal Crossing counterparts, and in AC, Daisy is a dog .
But you could argue that none of the Ruby Quest characters are actually animals, and Weaver just drew them that way for stylistic purposes! >_> (Though they're more fun to draw as animals. XD)

As one of the "4chan people", I can definitely say that we're not laughing atcha.
Artistic talent is fairly thin-spread on a site like 4chan, with such a massive userbase, so we have a great appreciation for those who have it.
Not to mention, this is pretty darn good.
