The Final Countdown :: 10All right, all right... I was already well aware that I can't finish anything on time, but this kind of solidified the fact. ._.
I was trying to draw ten pictures for the final ten days before the Avatar Season Three premiere, but it kind of sneaked up on me, and my procrastination got the best of me.
And unfortunately, as of today, there are only SEVEN days left to the premiere. x__x; So I'm really falling behind schedule.
I'm trying doggedly to catch up, but for now, I guess it'll sort of be a random, not-accurate-at-all countdown. XD Yay! Hopefully over the weekend I'll be able to catch up completely.
For now, here's the "10" picture. Poor Zuko is getting out-shined by Azula, once again. xD I'm not a big fan of Zuko, but I can appreciate his character and how hard he works to improve himself, unlike Azula, who is naturally gifted.
...Also, I apparently can't draw lightning. o__O It looks like pointy water. lD But it's lightning, I SWAERZ. D:
And NO comments on their "anatomy", or how my chibis suck even more than my real people. xD I have an easily bruised ego. xP

Nah, I'm in Canada, so the magazine will probably be coming out a little later here. As soon as I see it, I'll be buying it, though!

My way wouldn't really fit with your lined art, but I've found lightning is the easiest thing to do; just make two layers of intertwining lines that are whatever colour you want the lightning to be, then set a glow to it that's a lighter shade and attack the lines with the dodge tool. c:
You make me tempted to go watch this show, simply because of the huge amount of pictures you draw, rofl. I don't watch things. o-o
