Description Disgusting, isn't it? A little icon I made to display on my myspace. Feel free to save & share

I got a lot of smartass/heartless responses to this. This isn't a fucking debate forum, it's a deviation. So I disabled comments.

What about the far, FAR higher number of civilians who have been needlessly killed.. all for this lie, hmm? Don't their lives matter, or do only the lives of American troops mean anything?

Those do matter, but most Americans will get a bigger gut punch out of our troops than Iraqi civilians.

It's a very sad state of affairs if Americans cannot feel anything for the loss of innocent lives, regardless of where they live and what nationality they are.

Firstly, you took what I said and extrapolated it. I *never* said anything about Americans not caring about Iraqi civilians, because we do. OTHERWISE: we wouldn't be there. Most of these people wouldn't even support the war. Right?! Yes. What I was saying is, to reach Americans on a more personal level, it would be more effective to say "Hey, there's 2,200 AMERICAN troops dead!" versus "Hey, there's 100k Iraqi civilians dead." Which do you think would reach them better?

Next time, take your head out of your ass and don't read into what I say.

If America cared so much about Iraq and its people, it would have taken the time to make sure the reasons for going to war there were true in the first place. Which, sorry to say, the original reasons weren't.. and so new ones kept having to be made up in order to continue support for it.. which now no longer helps!

And... if there was so much love and care for the Iraqi people, there most certainly would NOT be so many dead Iraqi civilians.

Does it directly affect you? Do you have loved ones fighting a war they don't even support? Is your country even helping? Call me blind, but I don't see you guys pitching in with anything other than smartass remarks.

Really? Please, direct me to a news story that talks about them. Then I will admit I was wrong, but otherwise I think you're full of shit.

Are these enough, or do you need more?

Of course, I think it's pretty sad that I would have to direct you to anything relating to Danish troops in Iraq, given that even an eight-year-old child could type in 'Danish troops in Iraq' into a search engine and have it spew forth results which would provide news articles to read.

Okay, so I was wrong. I'm sorry. At least I can admit it when I'm at fault. But you on the other hand, you seem to be in a habit of personally insulting people you don't even know! Or maybe you're just prejudice against Americans, cos you always seem to have something bitter to say to me.

Regardless of where someone lives, I do find it quite vexing to be asked to provide articles or definitions on something when the person asking me is sitting at a computer and therefore could just as easily obtain the information on their own.

You started insulting me in your first comment.

Sorry about the first three.. apparently, DeviantArt didn't like the URLS for the articles..

but if you go to [link] you can find articles there relating to Danish troops in Iraq (which is the site those first three came from)

Everyone dies for some lie or another, it all revolves around the fact is if THEY believe in their cause or not.
