Description
The sexual relationship between Fluttershy and Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has sparked outrage from some fans, who have described it as 'creepy', 'gross' and 'slovenly'.
Fluttershy is a young pony – theorised to be around the age of 20 - who inhabits the village of Ponyville.
Discord, meanwhile, is a 3,000 year-old chaotic demigod with a penchant for evildoing.
Do you find the age difference between Fluttershy and Discord creepy, or are you just happy Fluttershy found love with a monster?

He isn't taking advantage of her. Fluttershy has the mind of an adult and she knows how Discord work. It's Fluttershy who is manipulating him since S3 into becoming a better person. But they overall on equal terms. They're not equal in term of power or height but theres no gaining advantage over one another. Fluttershy doesn't even ask him to use his powers for her. They respect eachother and have fun together.

Exactly, Discord jokes around with other ponies but Fluttershy's the only one he downright respects. He doesn't pull pranks on her like he does Celestia and Twilight. Fluttershy knows Discord and she's not going to be manipulated into something she doesn't want to do, besides, like I said, Discord RESPECTS Fluttershy over all ponies, so it's hard for me to think of him doing something like that without her consent in the first place.

Even then, if this is a shipping used in the show, I guess it's strange, but giant age differences in marriage doesn't seem to be too much of an issue, unless one partner is underage... even then, we need to know the ages of these ponies officially; I don't take controversies involving "theories" seriously.

Gonna have to agree with Lustre on this one. I'm not a fan of the ship at all. I prefer Discord with Celestia if I am honest. However, Lustre lost me when he said "She should be with someone closer to her own age – like me. I'd treat her far better than the pensioner jester, clown and/or buffoon that is Discord."

He does seem to have a better liking to Flutters then any other ponies in the show, but of course he will considering she is the only one who trusted him to be good despite his past when they released him from the stone inprison...
