Yus. I made Raph. Why? CUZ I COULD And I like how the bandana tails turned out, TBH...they could be better, but I like them nonetheless. Once I make Donnie, I'm gonna send it over to AnyCarRP-Donatello and see if he'll take it

Yeah, that's an avatar. So you'll need to download the Run, Run Raph character. There's a button on the side of the deviation that will download it for you. Rename it, save it somewhere on your computer where you can find it easily. Then go to your DA settings and the first thing is the setting for your avatar. Click 'change your avatar', upload the Raph gif from your computer, hit 'save' a couple times, and voila! Make sure you hit 'save' instead of cancel. I do that sometimes and it doesn't save, and I freak out and wonder what happened to the avatar I was trying to change xD

I actually didn't create the character myself
I found this online, edited it a lot, and then recolored it and changed it and added stuff and everything ^^
But thanks! It took a lot of tries to get the frames lined up just right~

Uh, it took about a half hour, maybe less, to edit the original and get rid of the background and get all the frames where I wanted them (in the thing I found online, if you just lined up all the gray squares, then the character would simply move its legs and its head was stationary; it wouldn't bob. So I moved them ever so slightly so their heads made a more circular motion.
After I made the base, I had to find a reference for the characters, and then I had to add the shell and belt and mask and get rid of the tail. The hardest part though was making the mask tails look like they're actually flapping and not just twitching awkwardly. If I look at my avatar for too long, actually, I'm still not completely satisfied with the way they move. But it's okay xD
Frame by frame, I had to color, edit, and add this and that, so I guess condensed down into a single sitting, maybe around five or six hours? Since Raph was my first run character where I started from a base and nothing more, he took the longest. Since him, I've been getting faster and can do one in about an hour now, depending on how complex they are ^^

Yeah exactly ^^ I've memorized these little guys, inside and out.
*snorts* I was so bored one day, I made each frame (4 frames, 4 turtles) into a different turtle on Minecraft, made out of different shades of wool >.< They're HUGE and they took so much time, at least two hours per frame xD But it was worth it because I made them so far in the distance, that from my house, I can see all of them and they're pretty much icon-sized xD

Well, 2k3 would be a little easier; he's only got one color and is pretty simple. It would match the simple 2k3 turtles I did (the ones I'm using for my avatar). However, I don't know if people would recognize him as Splinter if I made him gray instead of brown and white like the 2k12 series.
