Description
i made a more formal looking reference for these two.. i absolutely love drawing them. i've also written out some information about them individually & their story, since ive always been pretty vague about it:

LONELIL

Appearance
Lonelil is a young woman, standing at only 5'2. She has a fairly slender build, with a small bust and waist.
Her hair is straight, reaching just beneath her shoulder blades and is tied up in a half-up half down style,
(note: it isnt a ponytail, the bottom half of her hair is down). She normally wears a tuxedo (the one shown in
her reference) however, if she's to be drawn in another outfit she sticks to formal, masculine clothing
(suits, bowties/ties, button down shirts, dress pants, dress shoes, etc).
Depending on whether or not she's in Serenity's presence, her color palette changes (see reference).

Personality
Lonelil is passionate and dashing. She could be described as a 'gentleman' (besides, yknow, not being
a man), due to her polite and courteous nature. While she behaves like this with anyone, she definitely has a
soft-spot for women. Despite her naturally charming demeanor, Serenity is the first and last being she's ever
developed genuine feelings for. When with Serenity, she's very affectionate and loving. She's very open about
her emotions, contrasting with Serenity's stoic nature. Upon Serenity's mysterious disappearance, she
retains her courteous nature but becomes significantly more cold and strays away from any sort of relationship.

SERENITY

Appearance
Serenity is also a young woman who stands at 5'2. Her build is slightly more feminine, with more prevalent curves.
She is entirely a light shade of pink, and she has a soft glow similar to that of a nightlight; soothing and easy on the eyes.
Her hair reaches her waist and is voluminous and soft, curling at the ends and worn either down or tied up in an elegant up
do. Six flowers always adorn her hair, regardless of the style. She normally wears a sleeveless, fitted, open leg gown with
a translucent ribbon accessory around her arms as shown in the reference, but otherwise she sticks to classy feminine clothes
(gowns/dresses, heels, flats, gloves, floppy hats).

Personality
Contrasting her inviting appearance, Serenity is very stoic and keeps her emotions to herself. Similarly, her soft
looks might lead one to believe she is meek and dainty and while she does hold an extremely graceful air about her,
meek is definitely not a trait that could describe her. Serenity doesn't fall for Lonelil's flirtatious attempts
upon their first meeting, she sticks around due to pure curiosity. Her refined wit compliments Lonelil's laid back
nature nicely, establishing instant chemistry between the two. Because of this, she does develop a genuine fondness
for Lonelil, but unlike Lonelil she hesitates to show her feelings almost as if she knows it's best for her to
refrain from commitment. This could be the reason behind her miraculous departure, but we never know for sure.

Backstory:

Lonelil is the owner of a casino/classy nightclub. Lonelil is a natural host, and finds fulfillment in the social atmosphere. One
fateful night, she stumbles upon Serenity, a mysterious and graceful woman. Reeled in immediately, Lonelil introduces herself and the
two havea pleasant and witty back and forth, even ending the night with a dance. Night after night, the two spend time together.
Lonelil falls helplessly in love with Serenity as the two bond, and it's heavily implied that Serenity reciprocates. However, leaving
nothing but a note at her usual table, Serenity has vanished one night and never returns. Heartbroken, Lonelil enters a state of
stagnation and mourns the loss of the one she loved. Will she search for Serenity, or remain frozen in time?

Quick Trivia:

-Lonelil is NOT the same as Cudlil. While she's potrayed to be an AU version of her in the TOOTIME video, their personalities are vastly different, and Lonelil is better described
as a part of Cudlil rather than another version of her.
-Serenity and Lonelil are BOTH girls, I've seen some people mistake Lonelil for a boy. While she does present more masculine in terms of fashion, she is still a girl.
-Serenity is NOT based on anyone, nor is the situation between the two based on any real life events. The entirety of this story is fictitious, and symbolizes a psychological phenomenon which I won't elaborate on... for now...
-The aesthetic of their world is very classy, and not modern. There is no trace of modern technology in this world, it is more of a fairy-tale with elements of magic involved.
-The world should be drawn in a purple/blue color palette. It is usually drawn more purple/pink if Serenity is around, and more purple/blue if Serenity is absent.
