There are many times when I read and look at your art that I don't fully understand the context but I get this overwhelming emotion come from it. I cried looking at this and it still amazes me that you can put so much into so little. Well done.

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. Slowly I am piecing together more and more of the stories of the Black Book. For a while I awaited some revelation of what it all meant, what the whole story is, and I've finally realized - the beauty of the Black Book is that its stories are fleeting and brooding, barely out of grasp and mysterious. There is no other revelation to be experienced. It simply is.

For all of you wondering exactly what the Black Book is, allow me to place my input on it. The Black Book is not really the book we all think of. It is not readable, nor are there pages in it full of thousands of words of text. No.... I don't think so. I think that the Black Book is actually a collection of art pieces, meant to subtly replace the words of a normal book to tell the tale. There are no words. There never were. Our role in this story is to translate in our own opinion what each piece mean, and brick by brick combine into an actual story. The only question is... can you do it?

I believe that the Red and Black Books are not actually the books we think of. Rather, a collection of art pieces meant to tell a story. To subtly reveal to us a very in-depth, complex adventure. Our task is to translate the pages of the Black Book into our own meanings and relate to it.

Wann immer ich es betrachte...immer wieder, ein Schnitt an gebrochenem Spiegelglas.
Es tut weh. Es tut gut. Ein Sturmflut aus den unterschiedlichsten Gefühlen, die über mich hinwegtobt. Ein...Messerstich, so schmerzhaft, doch so befreiend. Weinen, ein Lächeln, alles zusammen.
Vielleicht gehört es hier nicht hin, aber egal, wieso sollte ich verstecken, was ich fühle? Sollen sie sich an meinem Geschwurbel ergötzen.
Das letzte Bild zerreißt mich. ...es gibt keine angemessenen Worte dafür, zumindest keine Worte, die ich kenne. Es zerreißt mich.
Zu schrecklich das Lauschen, das Zuhören der letzten Tage, die Angst davor – zu viel Trauer, Lähmung. Und nun sehe ich das, hier und jetzt, immer wieder und mir wird bewusst, dass ich ihnen einfach...vertrauen muss. Ich folge euch, sprecht mit mir, egal was ist, ich vertraue euch.
...und wenn ich dann das Culpexisten-Gesocks mit ihren gestohlenen Ideen sehe –
Ha! Haha! Hört mein Lachen! Ratten, wälzt euch ruhig in euren „Geschichtchen“.

...das Culpexisten-Gesocks mit ihren gestohlenen Ideen...
Ich kann nur sagen, dass auch mich das jedes Mal aufregt, wenn mir sowas unter die Augen kommt.
Und es fällt so dermaßen auf, dass es schon peinlich ist... aber jenen, die es betrifft, scheint es ganz und gar nicht peinlich zu sein...
und das sagt schon mal einiges über den Charakter aus.
Man kann sich ja durchaus inspirieren lassen, so wie ich mich von euch hab inspirieren lasse... aber dann soll man diese Inspiration nutzen, um seine eigenen "SELBSTSTÄNDIGEN" Charaktere zu schaffen und keine billigen Kopien (die dann auch noch als eigene Charaktere ausgegeben werden).
Euer Ärger darüber ist berechtigt, aber ich hoffe, dass ihr euch nicht davon entmutigen lasst.
Denn ich erfreue mich an jedem neuen Bild, das ich von euch sehe.
Es steckt immer sehr viel Herz darin, dass kann ich sehen und spüren.
Ich bin euch für vieles Dankbar, besonders da ihr in mir die Liebe zu Füchsen erweckt habt (wobei ich Füchse natürlich vorher auch gut leiden konnte)

Wow, this is deep. It makes me very curious, I really want to know what is going on! I'm in love with the color tones you chose here, too. Autumn-y, fox-y colors like that give everything some sort of homely feeling in my opinion. But there's also something melancholic in here, which I like. The sketchy lines of the characters look good in their rawness, too.
Is this going to be a published book?
