Description
Whenever a mammal dies anywhere, a Cookeeja is born. They wake up by the hundreds in seed pods growing from the ground of Gliese 581c, each with full memories of a single deceased life form. Documented in the Sitmac galactic database every time they come to life, there is no known planet in any discovered universe that does not have many matches of this species remembering it, including those undiscovered. The wide variety of them have memories of pets, wild animals of the seas or land, or any advanced linguistic species. Many possess past memories as deceased beings on Earth prime (including humans). As they're constantly born when other organic life dies, Cookeja would vastly overpopulate Gliese 581c if they were not relocated to other planets or space colonies. Some try to die again, but they will simply respawn in a pod with added awareness. The advanced scientific minds of Sitmacs continue searching for an explanation of this species' bizarre existence. Here you see a stubborn one with as many forehead ridges as she has tried to die. Death is never permanent.
Below the eyes, Cookeeja anatomy is nearly the same as ours, with males and females.
The difference besides their skin tone, is they are hairless and their fingers are twice as long.
