Description This model format is to be used for Xnalara/XPS software. For other formats please convert it yourself

Kaoru Sayama the Osakan Detective is main heroine from Yakuza 2, but she also appeared very briefly in Yakuza 3 which is where this model came from. She will have better model in upcoming Kiwami 2 I’m sure but that’s still long way from now. Anyway, I shamelessly reused Asagi’s body for this with minor modification. And she’s not supposed to wear high heels but I can’t make her original shoes worked.

Notes:

-Necklace, shoes, and pubes are removable
-For her hair, either turn on BFC+AFC or hide the HairBF mesh
-If you prefer plainer body, I’ve include alternate bump map. Use material editor (Ctrl+T) to change the body mesh bump
-I’ve ditched the transparent neck piece method of previous Yakuza mods and let the neck seam open. If the seam start to be visible again somehow, just use Modify->Remove Seams Between Mesh function in XPS

First you'll need to have each vertices perfectly lined between two meshes. Gotta use Blender or similar program for that. After that, the next step is matching the textures. Edit them in Photoshop or something, make sure that the area where the splits are have same color. Not just the diffuse map but also light map, bump/normal map, and specular map. If they match then "Remove seams between mesh" function in XPS can greatly minimize the seam.
There are other methods I used in the past but they're way more complicated than this.

Yeah, I use 2.49 although 2.78 can work with XPS models too. I suggest getting familiar with it first because blender is kinda complicated, but there are plenty of basic tutorial elsewhere.
For the neck seam removal itself I may make a specific tutorial about it but it'd be for people who already familiar with blender and photoshop.

Good job. Are you adding DOA head to DOA body? Headhacking from the same game should be simple, it's when you combine two models of different games that it becomes complicated.
