Beautiful work. Quite similar to the showβs art style, and very touching to see Ashi fading there. By the way, in case you havenβt heard, a new official Samurai Jack video game was actually released, this year. Itβs called, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.

Thatβs actually one of the reasons I told you this. Frankly, the alternative ending feels quite a bit more deserved, and itβs still beautiful. The game is awesome, too. Playing it really feels like being in the universe of the show.

Still I wish Genndy would given fans like myself a ending we wanted to see. And I get it... he doesnβt want a fairy tale ending. But killing off a beloved character like Ashi? That is so fucked up! Which I ask myself: why havenβt the three gods reward Jack for destroying Aku? Like reincarnate her for example.
Since I am taking a film class, I hoped, in my free-time, Iβll write something that would expend Episode CI. Hopefully a good ending for many of samurai fans whom watch it growing up.

I agree. The ending was so depressing. Has me in tears when ever I watch it. I do ignore the episode and the thought in general just so I don't get emotional. I grew up watching it. I wish you good luck on your writing past the last episode if you ever plan to in the future.
