Description

Dixie is one of my original OCs. Dixie and Mabel were made as a pair. whereas Mabel is the shy, nerdy, reclusive homebody; Dixie is the in your face, loudmouthed, dumbass, tomboy, Party Girl. She's is the kind of girl who would cheat off of someone else during a test but also would forget to change the name to her own and fail, she's the kind of person who NEEDS to count on her hands and absolutely must read books (if she even reads at all) with her finger on the page otherwise she'll get lost or stuck. usually she doesnt know words past 3 syllables and gets confused when her friends use words outside of her simple vocabulary. To most people it's pretty obvious that she wants to be seen as intelligent because Dixie tries to use larger words in order to make herself appear just as smart as her friends but normally it's completely fucking wrong or she just didn't even use it right. It's not always an issue for her, but she has her moments when the gap between her intelligence and the intelligence of everyone around her is pretty apparent.

Outside of her ability to speak and read, Dixie is often the life of the party! she loves being around people and absolutely can NOT stand isolation. she's always pushing people to do play games with her, drink, or otherwise have fun because she doesn't have a whole lot to do on her own. While she's close with Roxanne and Maryanne, Laura has always been Dixie's best friend. she loves fucking with Laura and her little sister Mabel, and more often than not spends most of her time with them because Roxy is usually busy, and Maryanne is a little too girly for Dixie to enjoy spending a ton of 1 on 1 time together.

Dixie is probably the OC i have to most art of but a lot of it is incredibly old and isn't worth posting, so going forward i want to make more art with her and the others to better show off their personalities together because i know on paper some of my characters might seem a little bland, but i like to think that Dixie isn't one of them. i put a lot of time and thought into her and she's gone through SO many changes since i first started drawing that i can't help but draw her more than any of my other characters. there's a lot i wanna say but this is already a lot of reading so ill leave it at that.
