Construction Notes:
I decided to bring my original Terra costume to Otakon on a whim, not having worn her in about three years. Long story short, I am so glad I brought her out -- otherwise I'd have never been able to collaborate with Jack on these photos, all of which are incredible! It is so wonderful to work with a photographer who knows the character and, despite the fact that we were both sweltering in 100+ degree heat on a rooftop in the middle of Baltimore, was somehow able to capture a shard of Terra's personality. I am hopeful we will get to work together again!

First of all, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. That said, I'm not a fan of critique in my gallery; it turns an otherwise fun and amusing hobby into something stressful and ugly. I always add a note to the end of my image descriptions to this effect, which I'm assuming you did not see. Beyond that, I am the cosplayer -- not the photographer. Your criticisms regarding "need(ing) more work on the photos" and the "hair covering (my) face" ought to be directed to the photographer, not me. In Jack's defense, I think he made FLAWLESS decisions regarding the photography. I have a large nose with a rather awful side profile and allowing the wig to mask it was an aesthetic choice which I heartily approve of. (These images would not be nearly so gorgeous with my big old schnoz visible in them.) Also I think you're missing one of the main points of beauty in these images -- the movement in the wig from shot to shot. If all of that hair was pulled back out of my face, he would never have been able to capture the wind so well.
In short, I disagree with your points but thank you for the compliments.

lol u took it in the negative way. My point was that u (or the photographer) can make It better, It was a positive critique, critiques can turn good art into a very good art when the artist is not an ignorant. adiosss
