Description
Myself as Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI. Photo taken by Ollie [Orobouros.net] at T-Mode 2007. I feel that this costume is probably one of my most inspired creations, and I am still incredibly relieved that all of the clashing ideas in my head somehow coelesced into a coherent design! I based this largely off of the CG renderings from the PSX version of the game, as well as rarer Amano illustrations. I even went so far as to incorporate elements from various fanarts that I enjoyed! This was a very fun, if stressful and time-consuming, project, and I'm still nowhere near finished. DDX Maybe one day I'll get back to working on poor Terra! The entire costume [including the custom-dyed wig and armor] was constructed by me.Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! :3

I love what you did with the hair incorporating both the green and blonde! I love green haired Terra best but this works as a great compromise!

Thanks for the comment; it is very much appreciated! <3 I've decided to leave this incarnation of Terra as she is, seeing as she's one of my older costumes and seems to well-liked without the additions I had originally planned on making. I do have several entirely new versions of Terra planned for the near future, though, so stick around for more Terra love! C:

Thank you very much! A costume can take me anywhere from a week to half a year to finish. Unfortunately I'm always pressed for time (I work 50+ hrs/wk, so I don't have much time for hobbies) so they tend to be crammed into 1-2 weeks of intensive work. As for making money off of it, I do take commissions for wigs and smaller costume pieces, but there's not much else I do to turn a profit. It's really my only indulgence so, despite it being an expensive hobby, it's not a super huge drain.
