Description
Myself as Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI. Photo taken by Ollie [Orobouros.net] at T-Mode 2007. I feel that this costume is probably one of my most inspired creations, and I am still incredibly relieved that all of the clashing ideas in my head somehow coelesced into a coherent design! I based this largely off of the CG renderings from the PSX version of the game, as well as rarer Amano illustrations. I even went so far as to incorporate elements from various fanarts that I enjoyed! This was a very fun, if stressful and time-consuming, project, and I'm still nowhere near finished. DDX Maybe one day I'll get back to working on poor Terra! The entire costume [including the custom-dyed wig and armor] was constructed by me.Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! :3

I'm not sure which is more spectacular, the costume or the title that sings to my die-hard soundtrack importing madness. I guess the beautiful cosplay would have to win by default, but still, the Final Fantasy Pray reference also brightened my day.
Incredible work. It's quite difficult to make logical sense out of Amano's ethereal work. Thanks for making my favorite heroine a touch more real.

Whoops, I think you mean FFVI, right? Amano was the original character designer for VI, but they really watered down his work for the game. I agree that his designs are beautiful! Thank you for the comment. <3

Haha well i wont pretend to know everything about FF D I love Amanos designs though, i soo wish the games character designs were closer to his!
Anyway, again well done on the excellent cosplays, there prob the best iv ever seen...no joke!
Im from Ireland so theres no forum for cosplaying...No where in Ireland (to my knowledge) does it..and its a real shame!

Really? I think you'd be slightly surprised by how many cosplayers there are around the world. You should try making an account on Cosplay.com and searching for other Irish cosplayers. I bet you'll find a bunch of people!
