Description
Myself as Edward Elric. Photo taken by Ollie [Orobouros.net] at Otakon 2007. Ed is perhaps my favourite character to cosplay, so I figured he should be my first upload. <3 I do make my own costumes/wigs; the only store-bought items are the pants and undershirt.No negative criticism, please. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! :3

Awesome! How do you create wigs? This one looks much better than regular ones, which look sorta flat.

The wig isn't handmade or anything, though I do know of people who have devoted entire weeks to handsewing their own wigs. It's a simple wig I purchased on eBay. ^__^ A lot of the trick to acquiring a nice wig is in knowing what fiber to look for, getting something with a skin top, and skillful styling. I'm glad you enjoyed my costume! <3

Oops, sorry to take so long in getting back to you! I've been without internet for several weeks. I, myself, used to have hair below my waist, and the real trick is simply to style it as flat as possible [braiding usually worked well for me], then stuff it all up in a wig cap, which sucks it in even more. I know several cosplayers who have hair your length and they've never had problems with wigs. It's just a little more time-consuming to get it all up in a wig cap, that's all! Good luck!

OMFG!..my mom made mine.I RUN AROUND SCHOOL WEARING MY ED COSPLAY..sadly only 2 ppl knew who i was..and im the one that told them about fma..it sucks..but people dont know its part of my halowen costume!

well my brother wanted to dip his arm in silver acrylic paint...but mom said no so he did somthing else..i forgot what he did though...but i remember i was young lin wen he was cosplaying as ed! and my sister was cardcaptor sakura!
my mom made us thecostumes..an brother used black "shoe covers" that mom made for his shoes...nt as good as youreshoes though!

The plain black shirt is store-bought, but you can't even see it in this shot. I did make the jacket w/ white trim underneath the red jacket. ^__^ Thanks again!
