Well this is my attempt at drawing my little self, but as you can see I'm worse at drawing than I am at writing. The whole thing is pretty terrible, but the arm in particular looks really weird.Related content

Honestly? It's not that terrible! I've seen worse on dA, mostly because of the lackluster effort. Here tho, you added a bit of shading underneath the characters to give them a bit of dimension. Then you thought about details such as the stitching on the teddy, the design of the beanie, and the stars on the shirt. Then finally you colored it! As long an you keep that effort up and have determination, drawing regularly, you'll be a pretty good artist soon.

That happens to a lot of artists. Something I keep in the back of my mind is 'Not everything I draw is gold'. That helps me cope with frustration.
But as you work thru that frustration and keep practicing every day, you'll look back on this piece and say "Wow, I really improved!"
