cupudotexe, i always liked your thumnbnails because the color looks good, once i click on the drawing it self, i am immediately upset by the anatomy of your characters which crushes the enjoyment that i would have gleamed of your drawing.
if you have time instead of focusing on coloring or BG practice, try to just draw anatomy, specifically parts you are having difficulty with like HANDS and HEAD PROPORTIONS.

actually not just hand and head, but feet as well orz
i kept this drawing for months and tried to fix it
in the end though, i gave up hope and just color this piece
do you have any 3D software that can be used for generating pose whatsoever?
i intended to buy what-so-called-doll-which-has-realistic-joint for helping me for with the proportion but couldnt find it anywhere near
all i usually do is look at the gravure photos for reference...

posemaniacs is a good site to start,it focuses on gesture drawing mainly... not only will it help you improve your anatomy but it will also help improve the over all flow of your characters.

I think the color and the tone are a bit greyish or sumthing, feels like it was washed...I think...
You just need to practice, if you think right now you have reach your limit, you'll be surprised on what you can do a few year later~ XD

kalo tipe ane tipe pastel, jadi ngebrush pelan dengan opacity dan persistence grading dikit2 dari gelap>>terang
agak beda dari tipe shiny-animu yang biasanya di dodge/sponge...
