What do you do to, while wearing the mask, to move the jaw?

In most cases the jaw is a separate piece connected to the mask by a hinge of some kind. Inside the mask, your chin rests on the back of the mask's jaw, so that when you open your mouth, it pushes the mouth of the mask open as well.
