Rody surely isn't a minicon so this is probably an alien tree .... and is nowhere near canon
since this was a themed picture for a calendar project some rules were bent

This piece is gorgeous, the way depth and perspective perceived is on point, it really catches my eye, so softΒ and so natural. The soft glow of the warm sunlight really captures the moment and how warm set the pic looks.
For a robot he looks really relaxed, shows emotions just like a real human. I see no flaws in this piece. Normally I'm not a fan of transformers but, This makes me really love this scene.
That is all I have to say, amazing job as words can't describe how good this is!

I can't find enough words to describe how gorgeous this piece is!! the depth perception and the perspective is flawless! The way the flowers and branches closer to the camera blur really give the piece more depth and it makes it look so much softer.Β
I'm also fond of the fact that despite this being a robot, the anatomy and pose seem gentle and not stiff, just like a human! The expression of the character makes him look young and full of wonder and innocence. This is also strengthened by the soft pink and yellow colours of the scenery around him.
There's so much detail packed into every inch of this drawing, I could probably write pages on how beautiful it is! I bet you worked really hard on it.
I feel like your biggest strength in your drawings is the way you portray light. The way you make the metal parts each look like they're shining and the small glints of light scattered about make the piece look almost angelic.
It's kind of hard for me to think about anything you could improve on, though. This piece is just so pleasant to look at and I get a strange feeling of happiness from it. I see pretty much no mistakes in your anatomy, colouring, or lighting skills. You really are an amazing artist! I aspire to be as good at drawing backgrounds as you are.
Pretty much the only thingΒ I can think of is that most of the scattered flowers in the background don't look like they're connected to branches, really. Especially the ones nearly blocking out the sun.
I'm sorry that I didn't really give much advice but I really hope you appreciate the compliments because I really reallyΒ like this piece.Β
I am 100% watching you and will be looking forward to seeing more art from you~

Yeah there are some floaty flowers there - i had problems with putting branches there because they always seemed to steal the attention so I went all "meh it's an alien tree" XD

anyways this is really good.i really like how first of all the anatomy is on point(i know this doesnt really make sense cuz dis a robot but imo humanoid so..)
second of all the blur of the flowers in front is a nice touch but just imo the back ground behind mecha boi is a lil too blurry and muddy which kinda break the illusion of depth imo.also the lightting is pretty good but i think (although this is gonna be a pain in the ass to do) it should reflect more of the flowers and get more pink shades and also get a darker contrast at parts in the shadow when compared to the highlight.but overall the colors, texture ,clean lines Β etc is very good making it a solid piece of art.keep up the work

I had many sketches for the pose and setting for this and pondered if this one would look too stiff,

The thing that struckΒ me first is the wonderful play between the crisp hard lines and bright colours of the Transformer as opposed to the faded,soft and delicate pink flowers that encircles the main figure-VERY nice effect!!!!
A strong composition with a great amount of details and lighting done right!
A true delight to view-this is top notch artwork!
Just the simple fact that you spent as much time with the background as the main figure is a strong point not to be overlooked!!!!

Blurr is very tricky and should be used carefully >8I a little too much and suddenly everything is hazy! But when done well it's a great effect!

GOAO! An extraordinary drawing!
Let's start with the design of the Transformers, in which it has many outstanding details, a very naturalistic expression, the metallic orange color that it has and that stands out in the mega detailed background of cherry blossoms. A feature that I look at here is that closer together, the flowers that are put forward become blurred and achieves a cinematic photographic appearance to the drawing
And of course, the harmony is achieved, the neat is impeccable and the kind of spear that has in the right hand also has prominence and that does not unbalance the drawing, being very light to the eye and nothing heavy.
In simpler words, the amount of detail and cleanliness that this drawing possesses shows an impressive quality in it. You are amazing!Β Β
