Description I'm particularly proud of this one Did not think I could still do this pose, can't remember what it's called though!

This set of yoga poses are a request for , I have to stress first that I used to practice yoga - two years ago. Right now I am terribly out of practice! I stopped because my hyper-flexibility was getting worse and I was starting to get partial dislocations in my shoulder and hip joints - so no critiques of my poses please!
I have tried to do a few of the poses I remember from back then and I hope they are useful for someone.

Please observe my stock rules as stated in my journal. (click 'previous entries' then the entry marked 'stock rules')

ANYONE may use this stock, it is not exclusive to the deviant who requested it.

lol, my 'party tricks' are limited buit are generally as follows:
I can lick my elbow - which is meant to be impossible
I can move the hair on my scalp just with the muscles as if I were wearing a wig
I can wiggle my ears
I can bend my thumb back over the knuckle of my second finger which looks really odd
and I can do this pose

lol

I believe that it was called "Crow" but if I remember right the knees were inside not outside. You are still impressive I could do this back when I weighed 155 lbs now at 185 lbs my center of balance is way off.

no, legs definitely outside the way I was taught, or how would you support yourself? However, I will check... [link] - legs along same line as arms, [link] looks like legs outside. though looks like I'm doing a 'beginners' version, don't think I could get my bum so high as some of these people!

I was happy to read on the second link it was called the 'crow' as I thought; Crane like in the first link is more apt. The last time I tried this position at my current weight my wrists went numb but I don't know if I was out of position (likely) or if it was the nerve damage in my left hand and the partial break in my right forearm that I incorrectly set myself. So I still salute your pose.

well I hd difficulty, my camera has a 10second timer and even that long proved too much for me! I had to wait about 4 seconds, then get into pose, lol
