Description Red bird sitting on a compass/ navigation instrument, printed on a vintage Victorian book page from 1886.

Collage of vintage engravings, modified with Bamboo Pen Tablet. I love the contrast of mechanical devices and fragile lovely creatures like birds.

This and many more prints of the steampunky type are available at my Etsy-shop, The Curious Printery

Wow! I never realized that lovely contrast between hand-made mechanical devices and the fragile-dainty feel of the birds until you pointed it out like that. Beautiful :]
Also- the fact that this is printed on a "synonym words" paper- why is a raven like a writing desk, and why is a delicate bird like a compass? XD
haha sorry, couldn't resist
