Perfossum is based off a possum (the real ones), whilst Gliscent is based off the sugar glider. Their palms can be used to spray perfume, of which they get from nectar in reference to what possums and sugar gliders feed upon.

Name of Origin

Perfossum's name comes from Perfume and Possum, whilst Gliscent's comes from Glide and Scent.

It's Typing

Both Perfossum and Gliscent have fairy as their primary type, whilst the former has grass as it's secondary type in reference to I guess with how it absorbs nectar, and the latter instead has flying in reference to how it has whatever those wing-like things you see on sugar gliders and even flying squirrels are called.
