well thx but I have to disapoint you, i took me maybe, hm.. an hour or so, but i had alredy done a couple sketches of it before, so I had a clear image in mind and dind't lose time in planing and such

jup, I also found out, that having a very clear image in your head BEFOR you start saves you a lot of erasing. I know.. DUH! but its still a realisation I had to get to the hard way

Right, but its not always a foolproof method, as the image in you head may be too awesome compared to what you can really draw. (There is even a forum about it)

its not all that difficult, just like drawing a normal armor and you simply add some mechanic textures and make it sort of shiny and stuff

thanks for the advise, but i just don't have enough mechanic genes in me to imagin mechanic textures and draw them.
