Honestly, I think the key is starting SUPER light, and then just keep layering with darker colors :] I always start out marceline's hair as a really dull, light blue XD

Me too! But I use to draw more anime/manga hair stile . . . its more easy (~o3o)~but i'll keep practicing to draw the hair like this!

Yeah, I definitely agree with that :] But it's still so beautiful! I wish I could draw anime/manga hair better I feel like anime/manga hair has to have a very specific and set light source, which is something that I struggle with XD I'm a bit bipolar with my light sources!

XD yeah its preety tricky to draw anime hair, cuz if you dont put the right angle in the front, dont make the certain elevations in the back, all of that will make it look strange DX but with the time you get how to do it, its easy~
