Yep! Loads of fun! Everyone's been really nice and helpful in their comments and crit, and I've definitely made a bunch of new friends on dA because of workgroups.

Yep, just ~workgroups . I think I've been doing it for about a year or so, and I usually just wait until the three months are up to sign up for a different type of group. But I've found that no matter what type of group I was in, if I asked for crit on any type of deviation, people in... well, pretty much every workgroup I've been in would comment and crit anyway.
I'm so with you on that one: what's the point of art if not to learn and explore? (And way off topic, squee! Joni in your signature. Rock.

well, i guess our workgroup will give me the motivation to draw... i really really have tough time when deciding what to draw, how to draw, why to draw.... and then:to draw. i get mad while drawing, it's strange, but i'm so impatient with everything... really! i must take a break every 2 min, otherwise i'd end up dead with frustration
