You know, the only problem I have with your Pern dragons is that you haven't made their tails forked.
Pernese dragons' buttholes are on their tails
'Their head and general body type is described by McCaffrey as being similar in shape to those of horses. On their heads they have small headknobs, similar to those of giraffes, and no visible ears. I'd never read that particular description, and it may well be true. I always based my design off of Michael Whelan's covers. I read those books first, so I've just always seen them that way.

Maybe so, but I question the build of their bodies in her designs. In my mind, their bodies would have to be quite lithe to be able to get airborne, more like a greyhound than a horse. I can see why people like her dragons though. She's a better artist than I am.
