It took me all weekend but I finally finished this picture. I've been meaning to do a version of Eagle Dance for a while that had a background in it. Unfortunately when I was doing Eagle Dance, I mistakenly saved over my original file with a file that had the background colour I was using as a placeholder embedded in with the rest of the picture.So finally, here it is. Hope you all like! The character is Kasimir, my tengu guy.

Hmmm, makes me think of the time I got to go to the opening of this really cool Native American museum. I got see some dances from my culture, along with the other Native American groups. It was amazing! ^^

Yesh, I like Kasimir too. I was thinking of doing some of him being all supernatural, but on like a city street or something, like the crow demon in our midst. I want to draw his crow form too. I think it would be a fun challenge.

Did you do something a bit different with the coloring in this piece? He seems shinier or sharper or something... XD Not that it's bad! It just strikes me as different

Yeah, I was trying to get the shadows a little deeper so it felt like he was in the sun. I find my lighting often has a lot to be desired. I'm a little sad though because I pumped the contrast up on the wings a little too high, then saved it.
