This is a fanart for the Dragon Age Origins expansion, The Awakening.What can I say? I love the hurlock Disciples
(specially the ones with the messy facial paintings in dark armor and red scraps of clothing, just like this one) And the setting... well it could either be an entrace to the Deep Roads in the Brecilian Forest or in the Wending Woods, since we're talking about Awakening, the latter is more logicl, I think.The original picture is almost twice as big but I decided to shrink it so you can't see some of my crappy coloring
I've been wanting to upload this for months!! Literally. I drew it in September but never got to add some color and I was determined to color it before posting it anywhere.

I love the texture of the coloring in this, I actually thought it was done with colored pencils at first! Nice detailing too, especially on the face.

yay! another game I haven't played (but which could please me)!
whatever... nice drawing! cool design indeed... I like the amount of details you put into his face. The cape is very nice too, but honestly, I think you could improve the chainmail by drawing each chain line one by one.
Also, great shadowing.

I really enjoyed the game, can't wait to see the second one! ^^
I did draw every chain line in the original pencil drawing... but of course that can't be seen once you color it in black, I put some white lines on top but I just don't have the time to get into so many details, If I did, I fear the sequel would have been released before I had had the time to finish this

sure, chainmails are a pain in the ass to draw. That's quite long, and the result is not always as good as wanted (that's why I add plate armor pieces on it when drawing OCs ^^ )
