Description
So I went to see Last Airbender today, and I lost some soul, I have to admit. If you've seen the show, you remember how awesome it was when Aang Avatar'ed out on the Firebender navy. This little comic here (sans dialogue of course) is literally how it happened. I would have laughed then if I hadn't been so underwhelmed. lolRelated content

I hoped that the giant wave would flood the fire nation but it didn't...
sad.
The fire nation is a chicken.

I imagine that wave just kinda dusting itself off, self-satisfied.

It pretty much did! It literally just stood there until the ships left, then slowly sunk back down.

I guess that's kind of badass... for the wave. It can just show off in front of the friends. 'Those navy ships? I just showed up and they were like oh noes and then they just run away. Nyyeeep, all me.'.
Doesn't change the fact 'twas prolly quite anticlimatic.

*nods* I was so disappointed in the water wall Your version of the ending pretty much summed up what I thought about it...FEAR THE WATER WALL, FIRE NATION!!

The whole "the avatar cannot kill" thing in the movie completely breaks the plot of the entire avatar universe. Since they treat that fact as being more or less known, why would the fire nation ever be afraid of the avatar at all? They already know he can't kill them, so they'd just keep coming constantly anyway.

Yea, I was expecting to see the monster water Aang, but no apparently a giant wall of standing water is waaaay cooler, and more threatening.
Love the dialogue.

Haha. Thanks ^^
I also love how he screwed up the timing, too. In the cartoon, he goes Avatar because the Moon Spirit gets killed. In the movie, that entire thing is over and done with before he thought, "OH yeah! We gotta get rid of those ships!"

Yea, he could have at least flushed out the city or something, that would have made it a bit cooler. Well he's got 2 more books to play with, if he messes up the ending of the last one.... *shakes head*
