Funny thing is he can't die. His father, Grunt the inhaler is a demon, and his mother is the whore of Babylon. Together genetically they gave him immortality. The not being able to die part contributes to his misery. It's not the ONLY thing, but it is a factor. Grunt also never loses, he just decides not to win when he has better things to do than dick around with the Transylvegans all day.
