I bought the mask at Michael's and painted it with a black paint pen (which I also bought from there). I had to open the eyes a tad more, though.

Though, be warned, the mask they carry tends to change, so at times it's more feminine or sometimes it's not.

We have a lot of 80's shops in our town (since our town harbors a lot of hipsters), so I went in and found a Members Only jacket. It's a little different from Tim's, but close enough. Mine's more of a windbreaker material, his is heavier.
And THANK YOU!

haha thank you xD I guess it's good to know I'm pulling it off well enough, seeing that I'm female and don't actually have his hair (I use a wig) or sideburns..

JaveTheKILLER In reply to CuryPotato [2013-10-05 01:02:06 +0000 UTC]
Np
Well anybody could cosplay as Masky and pull it off very well, even if your female. You don't have to put on make up because your wearing a mask, you don't have to do your hair just put on a wig, wear lose clothes and there! You look like Masky! It's also easy to dress up as Eyeless Jack, or every single creepypasta that has a mask.
(You can correct me if I'm wrong.)

Yeah, I've seen some /really/ great Masky cosplay. I think it depends on how much you want to resemble the character(?) I guess.Β

I think so, but if you wanted to dress as a boy but your female, you would have to do some chest binding if you wanted to wear skin tight clothes. But if you have big boobs, and you want to dress up as a boy, thats gonna be a problem.
(I'm going through that problem! My breast's are pretty big for my age, and I want to dress up as one of my male OC's this year and I have to use Ace bandages to flatten them without me suffocating. I'm sorry if I'm going a little off topic, but I've been thinking about this lately.)

I have smaller breasts, but I usually wear a sports bra anyway. If I'm just wearing my Members Only jacket with the costume, then you won't be able to tell too much, but if I were to go with a red plaid shirt with my chest cam... that'd be a problem. Exactly why I bought the jacket just a little outfitted, so you won't be able to tell too much.
(I'm sometimes mistaken for a dude because of how I dress and keep my hair tied back.)

JaveTheKILLER In reply to CuryPotato [2013-10-05 05:53:32 +0000 UTC]
Well I guess you have a better advantage with this boob problem. I heard if you just put on a sports bra that's one size smaller than you size, and layer it with a couple more thats sort of your size, they'll make your chest look flat. The only problem that it sort of restricts you of breathing. Trust me, I tried it before and I already had a hard time breathing after I had one layered over the first one. Though I haven't tried ACE bandages yet, I hear the best way to flatten your chest. So I trust it.
(Really? What's it like? I don't know why, but I want to know what it feels like to have someone mistaken you for a boy when your really a girl. Well I kind of already know, since I have another account here on DA that's dedicated to my OC that I'm dressing up as this year. You can check him out if you want )

See I don't think it's too necessary for me to have to use extra stuff since the jacket is already a little loose. ...And I don't really want to have a problem breathing haha.
(I don't mind it, since I can look like dude sometimes [I usually wear like a plaid shirt and jeans with my hair back]. But then I'll tell them like 'Oh, I'm gay' and they're like, 'Are you female to male?'. I'm not, I just find loose clothing more comfortable than skinny jeans/short shorts/tights/tank tops/dresses/skirts/etc. But my friend is also gay so they automatically assume we're together which can be a bother... Anyway, I don't think it is, but it depends who you are.)

JaveTheKILLER In reply to CuryPotato [2013-10-09 21:09:00 +0000 UTC]
I don't want to have a problem breathing either! But ace bandages still lets you breath, I don't think I won't be able to go completely flat chested but I will be flat enough hopefully.
(Oh I'm glad you don't take it hard. If anyone would have mistaken me for a boy, well I wouldn't know what to think. I would probably think "What makes me look so masculine?" But I would probably forget about it the next day. Kids think everyone is getting together these days. Seriously, if your hanging with your friends a lot other people will assume your together. I know how that feels to have people assume you and your friend are together.)

CuryPotato In reply to JaveTheKILLER [2013-10-09 21:24:59 +0000 UTC]
(I think it was just because we hang out all the time, so it's an assumption that does kinda make sense.
Among other things it was weird because I used to have a crush on her, but then again pretty much all of her friends have had a crush on her at one point or another. Not anymore, but it can be hard to say no when you would've wanted that. Even though I'm older now and realize that we're close, but that would've destroyed our friendship if I had told her. I'm glad I didn't.)

JaveTheKILLER In reply to CuryPotato [2013-10-09 22:02:53 +0000 UTC]
(Yea, kids these days.
Well if you liked her, why not show small signs that you do? Or maybe that's just me, because I do that when I like someone. I'm too shy to just tell them I like them. Have you also noticed as you get older, the people you used to like you don't like anymore? I know everyone has probably noticed it, but for me it took me a while to notice it.)
π: 0 β©: 1
CuryPotato In reply to JaveTheKILLER [2013-10-09 23:42:40 +0000 UTC]
(Well, it's not that I don't like her anymore, it's just that I'm more conscious about the decisions I make. We've besties since we were 7. There's not much of a chance I'll tell her. Unless of course things don't go well with her next few girlfriends, but I'm not her type anyway. She's one of the people that have really made a difference in my life and I wouldn't want to mess that up.)

JaveTheKILLER In reply to CuryPotato [2013-10-11 21:34:32 +0000 UTC]
(Your right, I shouldn't think of it differently. She's your best friend, and I should suggest anything to ruin that. I know how it feels to lose your best friend and believe me, it's not a good feeling. It was my fault that we aren't best friends anymore, because I moved to another state and we forgot our friendship. I now moved to ANOTHER state which in the last state I lived in I got myself another best friend, now we live about 1200 miles apart. This time I won't let her forget me, and I won't forget her.)

A local store that sells a bunch of vintage 80's stuff. We have a lot of thrift stores on 4th Street for some reason, so I got the majority of my costume there. So I can't really tell you where to look. It just depends on the amount of hipsters there are in your town (hella lot here).
