Yes, I am a bit of a fan of Happy Tree Friends. I mostly like it because of how well done the flash series is. So, I decided, eh, why not? And made up my first two OCs for this little series. Don't worry though, I won't be submitting a lot of HTF art since its a little too gory, even if there is lineart of this stuff... Oh well. Anyhow, on with the characters... Hope you enjoy!

Name: Garnet

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Animal Species: Red Fox

Occupation: Works at a pet shop. She is also the owner of the band The Shining Gems, containing herself and her two best friends Topaz and Sapphire.

Noticeable Traits: Garnet lacks the famous buck teeth that almost every HTF character has. Instead, she has sharp canine teeth. Whenever she smiles or opens her mouth, her sharp teeth can be seen. She's also known to bare her teeth when she's in pain, angry, or sorrowful. By looking at her face or the position of her lips when she does this, it's easy to tell what mood she's in. Her smile is often shown to be intimidating, but she never means any harm. She always has a pink flower on the right ear, not the left. Her tail is also known to swish when she's in thought or if excited/happy.

Talent(s): She's a fantastic singer, but she's very self conscious, so, she very rarely sings in front of anyone, with the exception of her closest friends.

Family: Not much is known about her family, but it is hinted that Garnet is indeed an orphan and lost her family at a younger age. However, she managed to survive by herself and eventually, she "adopted" Topaz, seeing the young hamster as a sister she never had.

Friends: She's best friends with Topaz the Hamster and Sapphire the Coonhound. She basically gets along with everyone else, though she does show some dislike toward Disco Bear.

Crush(s): Hasn't shown any interest in anyone yet, although she has dated in the past.

Fear(s): Garnet has several fears. One is that she deeply fears having Topaz or Sapphire disappear, and can't stand being away from the two for too long. She'll get extremely scared and will panic until she finds them. She also fears clowns, due to a traumatic incident in her early childhood. She met one as a young child, and when she asked if she could have an animal balloon, the clown actually got extremely mad and yelled at the poor fox. He even threw stuff at her, and thus, her fear of clowns was born. Her biggest fear is having Topaz be taken away, and thus, she will get extremely distressed and worried if Topaz isn't around.

Weakness(es): Her gentle nature often makes her too trusting toward others, and as such, she can easily be taken advantage of. She is also a pacifist, meaning she hates violence of any kind. If a fight goes on and she happens to be around, she will attempt to break up the fight. She also hates to see others be miserable or cry, and she will try to comfort the person in question, weather they want her to or not. Due to the fact she did date in the past, her breakup was very harsh, so, if she's reminded of her past breakup, she'll instantly grow depressed, and could even start crying.

Fun Fact: Loves to make necklaces and other jewelry.

Info: Garnet is a very peaceful fox, she'll break up fights if any start up for any reason, and she tries to stay out of trouble. Out of herself, Topaz, and Sapphire, she's the more mature and motherly type, acting like a big sister, especially to Topaz. Garnet is also a very helpful person by nature, often taking time to help someone if they need help with anything, or comfort someone if they're sad. She's usually with her best friends, Topaz the Hamster and Sapphire the Coonhound. However, she usually finds a way to get into trouble when she doesn't want to, and it usually causes her death. She also, interestingly, has Coulrophobia, a fear of clowns. She often mistakes Mime, an official character in the series as one, often starting to shake uncontrollably and will go in a fetal position if she sees or thinks of anything that reminds her of a clown.

Cause of Deaths: She is mostly killed by being slashed and bleeding to death, or being stabbed, some times repeatedly. She also some times gets killed from impalement. She also tends to die the more harsher deaths out of her friends, as hers tend to be torturous and long. She also cries before she dies, as she tends to endure a lot of pain during her deaths.

Animal Species: Syrian (AKA Golden) Hamster

Occupation: Works at a pet shop alongside Garnet. She's a co-owner of the band The Shining Gems.

Noticeable Traits: Topaz's ears are unusually bigger than any of the HTF characters (Since they usually have small ears, except Cuddles since he's a rabbit) and its even unusual with her own species. She has a white spot under each eye, usually near the corner of her eyes. She also has a slightly fuzzier underbelly. Always has an azure bow on the top of her head.

Talent(s): She's a great artist, and is usually seen drawing when not busy with anything else. She's also a good singer, but isn't as good as Garnet is.

Family: Much like Garnet, Topaz lost her family at a very young age. But, she was deeply loved by her family, and she was greatly upset when her family died. How they did is still unknown, as Topaz never spoke of it at all. It causes her to get extremely upset and will cry if anyone asks about her family.

Friends: She's best friends with Garnet the Fox and Sapphire the Coonhound. She is also friends with Giggles, Petunia, Flaky, Lammy, Cuddles, Toothy, and Lumpy. But overall, she tries to get along with everyone.

Crush(s): She appears to have a crush on Toothy the Beaver.

Fear(s): Topaz greatly fears being taken away from Garnet and Sapphire. If she isn't with them, she'll get extremely upset and start crying, she won't stop until she's with her two friends again. She also seems to have Hemophobia, a deep fear of blood. If she sees even a tiny drop of blood, she'll instantly become scared.

Weakness(es): She is very emotional, she can instantly become happy, or sad in seconds, depending on the given situation. She's well known for being able to cry very easily. Even a small wound will set her off. However, she is very easy to comfort, some times calming down in a few seconds. She is also a very shy person, often hiding behind her two friends or clinging to Garnet's arm.

Out of the three, she's far more timid, also making her a bit of a crybaby. Due to her shy nature, if she's around new people, she'll usually hide behind her two friends, or would hang onto Garnet's arm. She's also more cautious of her surroundings and usually freaks out, even over the smallest of things. When she senses danger, she'll usually try to hide or flee in a panic, usually resulting in her unfortunate demise.

Cause of Deaths: She is usually killed by hiding in places that's even smaller than her (She'll get stuck and eventually starve to death or get too dehydrated and die that way or when she finally somehow gets free, it'll usually result in ripping herself in half or a piece of her own flesh, causing her to die from blood lost), or if something crushes her while she tries to hide. She also dies from being impaled by something while trying to flee from a dangerous situation. While her deaths aren't as harsh as Garnet's, hers tend to be very painful and she usually cries before she dies.
