Personality

Connie has a more complicated personality than most. She typically has the "silent hero" kind of vibe to her. Its mainly due to the fact she is actually mute. She carries herself in a more professional way, often ready to jump into action at any moment. She is very no nonsense and rarely goofs off as a result. Even on days off, she's always alert and on guard. This can make her seem a bit cold and a bit distant as a result. However, like any other Agent, she carries a sense of justice and bravery, not hesitating to risk her life to protect Inkopolis.

Relations

Ajax (Agent 5 from Callie's Platoon)
Her older brother. Their relationship is a tad strained, mainly due to her being distant with him. However, he is still her brother and as such, she does genuinely care about him, even if his more goofy and often oblivious nature can annoy her at times.

M (Agent 4 from Callie's Platoon)
She and M seem to be on good terms currently. At times, its not uncommon for Connie to stop M and Octavia's arguments and ensuring they don't go too far with them.

Octavia (Agent 8 from Callie's Platoon)
She has a mutual respect toward Octavia to her more brave nature. While they don't interact too much, its safe to say they are on good terms and ready to help one another when needed.

Hachi (Agent 8.5 from Callie's Platoon)
Much like anyone who knows Hachi, Connie feels a need to protect him. She tends to do so when Octavia isn't around, often stepping up for her when she isn't around. As such, she holds no ill toward him and will do her best to protect him.

Callie Cuttlefish
Saying their relationship is normal is an understatement. Connie has a very close relationship toward Callie, often seeing the other Inkling like a mother figure. She is very sensitive to Callie's emotions as a result, usually being one of the first to notice if the other Inkling seems upset or anything of the sort.

Marie Cuttlefish
While she isn't as close to Marie as she is with Callie, Connie still holds a lot of respect toward Marie and still views her with much admiration. She would still obey Marie if something is needed.

Cap'n Cuttlefish
The one who recruited her in the first place. As such, much like the Squid Sisters, Connie holds a great amount of respect toward the old Inkling. If he needs something done, its easy to assume Connie would take his requests without hesitation nor worry about the risks.

Pearl
While they don't interact too much, its safe to assume Connie and Pearl are on good terms and generally get along just fine.

Marina
Very similar to how she feels toward Pearl. Even if Marina is a former Octarian, Connie doesn't seem to hold any malice or ill toward Marina and seems to fully accept her as a friend and ally.

Fun Facts
Connie was not always mute. In fact, her muteness is the result of one of her more reckless adventures as a beginner Agent. An injury to her throat is the real cause of her muteness. As such, she has a scar on her throat which she tends to hide. Despite the muteness, she is still a very capable Agent and tends to "speak" through expressions and body language. She also knows sign language too.

Backstory
Connie is an Inkling of mystery. Being recruited by Cap'n Cuttlefish and the Squid Sisters at the age of 14, she helped save the Great Zapfish and took on DJ Octavio on different occasions. During a harsh fight with the Octorians at one point, she receives an injury to her throat. While she survived and the wound heals, leaving a scar, she sadly loses her voice as a result, rendering her mute. However, it doesn't keep her from doing her job, often relying on facial expressions, sign and body language and even making certain sounds in order to communicate still. She isn't perfect by any means but don't let it fool you, she's a seasoned fighter and will not hesitate to jump into the fry and protect those around her, regardless if her life becomes at risk as a result. Its no wonder she's secretly a hero of Inkopolis!
