A look ( I'm later, that's fine) I can't really analyse Greystripe there sooo... he's meeting with Silverstream? If yes, I don't know... if I remember correctly he and FIREHEART were out on patrol ooor training their apprentices when greystripe, who just got there with FIREHEART cracked into the river and Silverstream saved him. That's how those two met, I can't image them being together without FIREHEART.

This is going to possibly sound weird. But maybe the RiverClan scent on ThunderClan territory is Silverstream? It could also be Mistyfoot, tagging along. None of the RiverClan cats would enter ThunderClanβs territory to catch food like mice and birds unless they had to. Also, I doubt Blackclaw was lying when he was talking to Sandstorm and Whitestorm at the river. It just seemed like to genuine of a reaction. He did bring up a good point about the floodwaters, and I doubt some silly floodwaters would keep apart true love. And perhaps the reason Mistyfoot (if that is Mistyfoot) wanted to steer the conversation away from the RiverClan smell on ThunderClanβs territory is because she is helping to keep her good friend Silverstreamβs forbidden affair a secret from the other cats.
