Just out of curiosity, why haven't you done any customs with the Fashion Style ponies? Is there an advantage to working with the smaller ones?

Well, they're bigger, take longer to rehair and take more shelf space.

Ah I see! I haven't messed with rehairing yet, being content to sculpt hair, but that's a good point. I've found Wal-Mart to have the fashion style ones the cheapest at ~$13 but they never seem to have Rarity! I'm varnishing my Fancy Pants custom atm and I'll have to admit I used up a bunch of scrap clay on just the mane and tail.

Yep! Taobao often has the first of everything! I have placed orders from it before. But it is rather expensive. You need a shopping service to do so. As such, I prefer to wait until the ponies are state-side
