Description Ok so
this is the fabruary assignment for
not really satisfied with it... I've been really trying to nail those joined hands... failing everytime :I
left hand, what even are you. just how... why.
but yeah, I need to draw more hands.

small sketches are drawn with pencil, the one at the bottom is ink, charcoal and chalk on a4 cardboard thingy.

You make it look like a piece of cake to draw hands <3 I love the smoothness of your lines, and the way you construct the shapes with help lines and well-placed shadows.
The bottom drawing I find very inspiring, I need to get my hands on some brown paper too. Love how you managed to include the veins in that drawing

Thank you so much! I really needed some hands practice though. Especially the last sketch made me realize how hard it is to get them right. But I'm happy about it, because now I know what should I focus on

tak jak ze wszystkim, to kwestia ćwiczeń ja w sumie dopiero niedawno odkryłam, że rysowanie dłoni może być fajną zabawą (aczkolwiek to, co tutaj zaprezentowałam to zaledwie kilka rączek spośród dziesiątek nieudanych szkiców xD)

Thank you! hands are indeed hard to draw... but it's easier once you get how they *work*, it just takes lots of excercise I guess.

And you told me that your sketches look crappy! XD
I really like your flowing lines. and how you did the shadows.
The referenced hands on the bottom are really a little bit odd – but you know, we only learn from mistakes. ^^
Anyway, I like that you used brown paper for it and did the highlights with white.

You should've seen my previous sketches I just picked a few that aren't total disgrace...
I think I'm gonna try brown paper again, for april's challenge. It's really fun to try out new techniques
