...I guess I got some explanation to do...
Okay, so...
I bet some of you guys remember me mentioning about that I was planning to animate prologue from my comic that is about my warriorsona, Fernleaf. I teamed up with SkyBlueArts as she was interested to work on the project with me.
Buuut as you can tell, I got busy and back then she was busy with her own work when she was still back in college, so this project was turned down on hold while either of us got more time for it.
But as the animation is being dusted in my files, I thought to share it, as I think you guys deserved a right to see how this animated project was going on anyhow
So what is about to happen to the project?
I am not sure honestly. But part of me would love to continue on it
But as things are what they are now, I doubt that I would be able to work on this exact same file as...
1st My background style has changed
2nd If I did continue on this, I'd change or at least update the style. I would love to keep it but I need to work on it more before taking it back in use.
3rd I assume when I bring this project back up (as much as I hate to say this as I feel bad to say it) I probably would need some sort of team (that I probably can get gathered around my friends). Where I mainly would need help would be linearting/inking. Otherwise I love doing backgrounds, colors and storyboarding/sketching
But linearting is usually the sticky part for me so I wouldn't mind some help on that (Although I then got very high quality standards on that the lineart should look neat and clean)Meanwhile I still progress on this stuff in my brain, I shall leave this unfinished piece of animation for you guys to see and most likely to favorite/love/hate/admire/whatever suits on your boat!
I am awfully sorry that the project has crashed down alike this
But as I said, I would love to bring it back to life at some point in the future, so we shall see about it! (Keep thumbs up for me, your support REALLY means a lot <3)So...
And now I bet people are wondering what has happened to the comic as I have not really posted anything related on it for a while...
Don't worry, I still try to gather my motivation for the 20th page
I am awfully sorry for the slow pace of the comic too but as I got my new, original, comic to work on, it just doesn't feel the same knowing that I could never publish a hard cover version of Path of Stars since Warriors is a copyrighted material...:3;But I hope you enjoy the animation that I got to share!^^
And I promise, one day I'll bring an animated version of the prologue for you to enjoy! I got it all scripted and it should be a lots of better than the comic version

I think the Poppy seed part is also my favorite, it turned out better than I expected :'3 Over all I'd love to finish this but I assume the best if this project was brought back to life again that stuff would be redone... Gladly this was only thing that was nearly done from the animation anyway xD

I can start working on it as soon as I'm done with University in a couple of weeks time and when I finish my MAP parts c:

What program do you use to make the pictures move?

I have made this in Adobe Flash Professional CS6 where I only set fps (frames per second) count and the program kinda makes the "video effect" for me :3 Of course I need to render it through Windows live Movie Maker to make it actually uploadable to YouTube xD

Oh XD I've been trying to animate and I just don't know what programs to use. If you ever have the time do you think you can do a short video on how you do it?

Probably, I shall see! But I'd recommend you to check some tutorials from YouTube for the Start :3 I bet they can help! I assume you can just basically search for "How to animate" or "How to put animation together" ^^

I used to start only with MS Paint + Windows Movie Maker so you don't exactly need to start off with professional programs to become an animator :3
