There are not enough words for me to describe how proud I feel right now to live on this day
Even though I am not back in Finland celebrating this great day, I still wanted to participate in #Suomi100 somehow!
So instead of following my traditional "White and Blue" -themed Independence pictures, I decided that instead I want to draw something that means a lot to me as a Finnish person
Nature is close to my heart and that's where I started off with this picture~
Finland is known for its beautiful nature and especially winter and auroras are something people from other countries tell me they would like to experience the most if they ever visit there.
I have seen auroras few times in my life and they are definitely worth it
Even though I am not the biggest fan of winter because of the cold, frosty winter mornings when plants and trees are covered in frost is one of the most beautiful views I know of
Suomi (Finland)
Minun synnyinmaa, se paikka, jossa sydämmeni tulee aina olemaan kotona vaikka olisin maailman toisella puolella (My birth country, the place my heart will always stay home in even if I'm at the other side of the world)
Olen todella ylpeä ja kiitollinen heistä, jotka taistelivat itsenäisyytemme puolesta (I am so proud of and thankful for the men who fought for this independence)
Olen ylpeä, että olen suomalainen (I am proud to call myself a Finn)
Rakastan tätä maata sydämmeni pohjasta (I love this country from the bottom of my heart)
Ja lupaan (And I promise)
Etten ikinä menetä tätä tunnetta ja yhteyttä siihen, ikinä 
Hyvää sadatta itsenäisyyspäivää

The highest chances of seeing them are in the north/lapland but it isn't impossible seeing them at the south of Finland as well ^^
I am originally from middle west coast of Finland and I've seen most of my auroras there :3

You bet! Although it's more likely to see them in northern Finland, it's not impossible to see them in southern Finland either if the conditions are right.
