Description

Now that I found You by Britney Spears gave me inspiration for the title and it ended up as Flamedapple's (one) theme :3

Wow
It surely has been a while since I last submitted some art in this group, now has it?
I decided to take the last weekend completely for myself and I ended up drawing Flamedapple and Autumnstar, one of my rare couples that are still living in The-Six-Clans .

I have had couple of thoughts about this and now I have confirmed myself that I am planning to leave The-Six-Clans
I am not gonna disappear from there like all "poof" but from now on, I'll kill off my characters, one by one until the only ones I have left are Dustlight and Froststar. So yep...
One of the main reasons why I have decided to do this is because the group isn't the same as it used to be.
Not at least for me
Everything is so unorganized, the founder poofs for months at times and just everything is sometimes so great mess that I don't even Also I feel alike I have grew too skillful roleplayer to be there.
Sure I know everyone starts from somewhere but now that I roleplay with someones that are six or four years younger than me, it just doesn't feel the same when I try to put some effort in the roleplay and in return I get just one sentence reply and if someone must know, it feels very furstrating and I easily lose my motivation to continue as I endlessly get one sentence replies for at least my five or more sentence replies. Just sorry, I cannot do it anymore

Those, who are interested, most likely my first cats I am probably gonna kill off are Rainkit (ClawClan), Burningpaw (MistClan) and Duskflower (FeatherClan). Cats I am gonna save as far as possible are Dustlight (FeatherClan), Froststar (ClawClan), Ripplewing (MistClan) and Flamedapple (SparkClan).
If you're interested in any specific cat of mine that wasn't mentioned above, feel free to ask about her situation!

So...
I don't know when I'll be completely gone, I am just warning ahead for those who even bother to read this description this far...
Thank you if you have done it though

I'll still stay in Life-Under-the-Trees and lead it until I cannot anymore, whether the reason is busy future life or something else!

But anyway...
Back to the picture:

I am pretty happy how this turned out~
At first I was wondering whether to add in their six kits but then I decided I leave them out since I just wanted to make this picture only around this couple

Note:
Only blazinq is allowed to use this. Others have no right to use this anywhere or they/he/she will get punished. Also Tracing, Over-colouring, Copying, Claiming as own ect.ect. will lead you in trouble if you do so!

Flare I'm so sad to hear you go. I really enjoyed roll playing with you while I had the chance and I'm so sorry if I was ever someone who was an awful roleplay partner. I'll miss you being around

Don't worry Maple, there were others that really got on my nerves and you're not one of them ;w;
It would be nice to roleplay with you maybe try out again at some point before I leave as I assume you're going to be stuck with TsC meanwhile I move to focus only in LUtT
But if you still want to give me a shout that you want to roleplay for the last moments I am around, just give me a shout!
Thank you for kind words

sure ^^

Tinderpaw awoke from a deep sleep one lat cold morning. The days where finally getting longer which was good for the land but not so good for his sleep pattern. He had gotten used to the darkness very easily but now it was getting brighter and the sun glared down on the snow and blinded the cats trying to hunt. Not to mention his pelt being a large dis advantage. He let out a deep sigh as he stretched his joints loose of the cramps. He quickly finished grooming his long, matted pelt and walked into camp0, feeling a little more presentable. Tinderpaw spotted his mentor, fallpetal walking towards him through the morning bustle and waved his tail in hello. was she got close enough he mewed "good morning fallpetal" in a sleepy but joyful tone

Fallpetal laid down her lime green gaze on Tinderpaw as she heard his greetings. "Well, morning for you too~" She purred and smiled as she stopped just a half tail length away from him. "It seems alike you got up at perfect time!" She started praising her apprentice as she kept the smile on her face and her tail changed position. "You've came along very well, Tinderpaw, and I bet you'll be warrior soon enough, no problem about that!" Fallpetal continued and gave her apprentice a bit playful nudge on his shoulder before she continued again: "I haven't planned anything too special for today, maybe just to see what you can already do and what not. Or would you have personally any special wishes?" Waiting her apprentice to answer, Fallpetal turned to glance at the fresh-kill pile before returning her gaze on Tinderpaw once again. Before she let him to answer properly, she added: "And I'm afraid we need to eat something freshly killed from our own as the hunting patrol haven't returned in yet!"

Tinderpaw nodded "oh I don't mind hunting for something first." He mewed as he looked at the thin and wimpy prey pile. "But today I feel like I could really work on some tree work or battle training. The rest I can leave to you to decide" he smiled back at her, the sun blaring on the blinding snow, making everything around her a bight white halo

Fallpetal nodded and then flashed and an approving smile on her face. "Very well then!" She purred and then took a deep breath of the fresh Leaf Bare air before exhaling it out all together and then she lifted her head up once again. "I believe we shall get going then~" As she was done saying that, Fallpetal turned around and began to make her way out of the camp. "C'mon then Tinderpaw! Lets get out bellies full before we start training!" She called over her shoulder at her apprentice as she turned to glance that he was following. Pushing through the FeatherClan's entrance, she took few steps forwards before she halted and turned her head over her shoulder one more time to make sure that the brown tabby tom was following her.

Tinderpaw tumbled after her, ploughing through the snow through the entrance and shaking his pelt free of any twigs as he came through the tunnel. Tinderpaw hadn't realized how hungry he was until she had mentioned getting something to eat. a snow bird, mice, vole or even a yummy weasel would deffinetally do just fine. "mm I'm hungry just thinking about a hunt" he smiled over at Fallpetal. "what are you hungry for?" he asked a they casually walked along under the bare trees in no particular direction. The mornings where starting much sooner now and a glimmer of hope for spring made him walk with a bit more spring in his paws

Waiting the apprentice to reach her side before she began to move again, Fallpetal turned her gaze from Tinderpaw up in the air, to the sky which seemed to be clear with few clouds there and there. "Well, anything that I can eat~" Fallpetal replied with a purr at Tinderpaw's question. "I am not really after anything so specific. Just something to eat~ Maybe a bird or vole would do some good." As she was finished what she said, Fallpetal halted for a moment and sniffed the air. There were no scent trails of prey but instead the air was very fresh and Fallpetal even wished it to smell alike new leaf soon enough. "Lets go towards the river", she decided after some while and began to pick pace again. "But lets not cross the border since then we would get MistClan on our heels and we don't want that~"

Tinderpaw shivered, still remembering the battle with the claws. "Yeah... I don't want to cause trouble that's for sure" he mewed and followed Fallpetal through the snow and towards the river. When they started to get near the border the fermilliar noises that would fill the air in the spring came to them. Tinderpaw gasped and bounded towards the thawing river. "Look fallpetal! The middle of the river is starting to thaw!" He mewed staring at the rippling, black, thundering water

Aiming her gaze more forward, Fallpetal could see how some glittering were glowing ahead of them. "Ooh it surely seems so!" She responded in return and without a warning, the she-cat speed up to run as she decided to get more information about this. As she reached the shore, her eyes stretched wide. Indeed, the river beneath them had got freed by the ice! Black, dangerously deep water rushed just below their paws and Fallpetal held her gaze on it for a moment or two. Shaking her head she turned her attention back to her apprentice and smiled. "Yes! It is a sign that New Leaf is not too far away!" Returning her lime green gaze back on the flowing river, she kept her gaze locked on the flow before she blinked and with a sigh turned away. Oh Autumnpaw, my dear brother... Why you had to drown? All only because of the stupid badger and me... The flashing memory of the shore where her brother had passed away, Fallpetal couldn't help but crack her smile for a moment by the memory.

Tinderpaw noticed fallpetal staring into the distance but dismissed it as her just thinking to herself. Tinderpaw shivered slightly "I can't believe mistclan is crazy enough to go in the water... I bet so many cats have drowned. I wonder why they wouldn't stop after they realized it was dangerous"

Fallpetal couldn't help but nod in agreement. With a heavy sigh, she shook her head and decided to push the grieving thoughts of her brother away. She would see him whenever the time came for her. Maybe he would probably be there to take her to StarClan...
"I think we probably shouldn't be anywhere near these frozen waters. Only StarClan knows what may happen if we slip in by accident", Fallpetal mewed, her lime green eyes flashing briefly by sadness but she quickly returned comforted look on her face and turned at her apprentice. "Lets go towards the north. Maybe we could find something to eat from there", she suggested and with that the white-and-tortoiseshell she-cat began to make her way towards the upstream of the river that flowed beside them.

Tinderpaw agreed with her statement as he backed away from the river edge, he slipped on patches of ice that had formed there, being the clumsy cat he was he tumbled around a bit until getting his footing and following fall petal. He was thankful to star clan she hadn't seen it. Tinderpaw tried to think of the best places to hunt to impress fall petal but nothing really came to mind. He just hoped he wouldn't fall again and embarrass her

Walking forwards for a while, Fallpetal felt how a chilly blow ran through her fur and made her ears flinch briefly by frost bite. For New Leaf that was a bit chilly... she commented inside her mind but as no other chilly wind came across, she decided not to mind it. Probably it was nothing too special? Yet she had to keep in mind that even though New Leaf was coming the weather could still do its tricks. If it gets too windy and chilly, we shall return back to the camp. she decided while glancing over her shoulder to see had Tinderpaw kept up with her. "Everything alright?" she asked, keeping her voice gentle as she noticed the troubled look on Tinderpaw's face.

Tinderpaw snapped his head back up "uh- yeah I'm great" he mewed back and took each step inside Fallpetals foot prints. It wasn't as hard to follow her tracks as he had gotten bigger and started to match her stride. The breeze hadent bothered the thick pelted apprentice at all, he actually liked the cold spells because of the tragic heat in green leaf. "Fallpetal?" He asked

Nodding to show she had heard him, Fallpetal turned her head back forwards and kept padding on. The forest seemed to be in peace now and as the sound of the flowing river began to die down, Fallpetal pricked her ears in wonder whether they should stop and hunt there or so. Before she though could make any thoughts for it, she heard her name being asked and turning her gaze towards Tinderpaw again, she tilted her head in wonder. "Yes?"

"Well, to be honest I'm a little sceptical. I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a warrior.." He admitted to her. It had been on his mind as he heard the talk of the need for warriors and who would probably be given a warrior name soon. He had heard his own name in a few conversations and almost didn't want to be made a warrior... Training was fun and even better with fallpetal and he didn't want to be left alone in the warrior den and have nothing to do, no role in the clan.

Stopping her padding, Fallpetal held her gaze on Tinderpaw a while longer before she began to consider what to say for the apprentice. "No one is ready when they get named as a warrior, I wasn't either", she confessed and let a smile fix on her face. "It feels hard at first but when you know that you can do it, you can do it! But no new warrior knows their place right away. You're more than ready to earn your warrior name Tinderpaw but don't worry, getting used to be a warrior will take a while, no matter how long you would train."

Tinderpaw felt comforted by her words and his worrys melted away like the ice. "Yeah... Thanks Fallpetal" he mewed with a little smile, feeling much better now. the two started nearing a art of the territory that deffinetaly smelt like it could hold a few catches for the day. Fallpetal flicked her tail to silence Tinderpaw and he followed beside her as efficiently but quietly as he could. He wasent a very elegant or light cat so his walk was more noises than hers

Fallpetal's lime green gaze was locked at the distance her eyes narrowing bit by bit shortly after. Crouching down, Fallpetal began to stalk forward yet she still wasn't completely sure what she was after. Suddenly a sharp noise caught her off a guard and for a while Fallpetal stood there her pelt and tail all fluffed up. "..." standing there silently for couple of moments, she suddenly felt how a broken nut fell on top of her head with a small knock. "Ow!" She exclaimed and rubbed the spot with her paw before she decided to glance upwards. Spotting a squirrel about three or four tail lengths above her, Fallpetal lifted her eyebrow in small wonder before she turned her gaze at the truck where the branch was growing from.
Silently, Fallpetal slipped at the direction of the truck and trying to be as quiet as possible, she leaped on the truck drowning her claws into the bark and began to climb.

Tinderpaw watched in awe as Fallpetal scaled the tree after the squirrel with such grace and silence. He crawled over to a neighbouring tree and did his best to copy her, making sure to stay out of sight from the squirrel. Once he perched himself on a branch he watched to make sure the squirrel wasn't getting away from her. He let out a relived breath as he noticed that the little fluffy animal had no idea anything was just about to pounce. He watched as Fallpetal positioned herself and got ready to watch her catch..

CuteFlare In reply to MapleTheMutt [2015-03-12 08:42:21 +0000 UTC]

Spotting Tinderpaw at the opposite of the branch, Fallpetal smirked. This was perfect! If the squirrel tried to run away it had either chances fall on the ground and suffer painful death due the fall or then run straight into Tinderpaw's paws. This catch surely wouldn't be missed!
Returning her gaze from her apprentice to her prey, Fallpetal gave it a few thoughts. She had a chance to leap straight from there where she was and grab the squirrel while she would land on the ground. But that had a high chance of failing if she didn't manage to grab the squirrel or something else would go messed up. Another opinion was to get closer steadily and then make leap a bit closer. The squirrel was standing at that thin part of the branch that she didn't have much other opinion but ending up on the ground anyway.
With a deep breath, Fallpetal began to make her way towards the squirrel, careful not to make the branch too wavy. As she was close enough, she crouched and without a warning unsheathed her claws opened up her jaw and then shot at the squirrel, grabbing the creature by its neck and biting down hard until she heard snap. Landing on her four paws, Fallpetal lifted her head up to show Tinderpaw that they had managed to catch the prey.

Tinderpaw had a grin from ear to ear as Fallpetal shot forward. He relaxed from his uneasy crouch and waved his tail in triumph. "Yes! That's one of the best catches for the new season" he yowled happily. As he got a closer look he saw how much more meaty it looked than the majority of the catches back home. He watched Fallpetal carefully as the branches swayed slightly under their weight. Looking down, he saw how high they where and that there was barley any snow to cushion them. Slowly, he backed himself away and towards the trunk again "careful!" He mewed, not being able to help worrying

"Don't worry about it!" Fallpetal mewed as she had landed on the ground and after she had placed the squirrel on the ground, she then turned to glance over at her apprentice. "Be careful yourself when you climb down from there!" She told him in return, although her tone was reflecting more her carefree side rather than worried one. She had full faith that her apprentice was doing great! Probably the next catch would be his. "Lets see what more prey we can find and then you can show me how well you have learned!"

He nodded as he landed in the snow and trotted over to her. He serched for a scent as Fallpetal hid her catch. He kept his jaws slightly parted, head tilted back and walked around. Finally, he coughs a faint wiff or bird. His stomach growled as he fantasizes over the taste of bird. They had just started to come back and he hasent had a bite of them since they left. "Fallpetal! I smell birds!" He excited whispered

Fallpetal prickled her ears as she glanced over her apprentice that had just scented more prey. Before she could say anything in response, she could hear how Timberpaw's belly was growling. As her face made an amused smile, Fallpetal glanced at the direction where she caught the faint scent of the birds. "Fine, if we manage to catch one each, we can have a lunch then. Sounds fair enough?" Fallpetal asked as she glanced down at her apprentice that didn't seem to complain her offer. "Lead the way then. You got the scent so this time, I want to see how you would lead hunting patrol at the prey."

Tinderpaw nodded in response to her orders. He hoped he proved himself well to her. Turning, he lead her through the damp underbrush, doing his best to keep quiet but not slowly so they wouldn't loose the prey. The scent of birds grew closer and tinderpaw kept his ears pricked and nose quivering to try and pin point their location. As they slowed, tinderpaw caught sight of a small group of birds and kept himself still to scan the area and work out how they would catch them. He turned to fallpetal and motioned with his tail for her to approach on the left while himself on the right. The wind was non existent so he didn't worry about that

As Tinderpaw had nodded, Fallpetal could see how he turned around and began to make his way towards the scent carefully but still he seemed to keep some kind of speed up with him so he wouldn't lose the track. As the white-and-tortoiseshell she-cat began to follow him, Fallpetal could tell how he indeed had been right about the birds as the scent got stronger by each tail length they passed. As Tinderpaw slowed down until he crouched down, Fallpetal reached up his side and crouched down beside him. Her lime green gaze caught straight away the small area where were about from seven to fourteen birds by a quick glance. As she felt Tinderpaw to move beside her, Fallpetal turned her head to see what he got to show. As his tail made the motion for her to go from the left side, the she-cat nodded while giving him an approving smile and then began to go ahead where she had been ordered to go. As she was on the left side from their older point of view, Fallpetal narrowed her eyes, seeing shadowy figure of Tinderpaw in the distance. For their luck, none of the birds seemed to notice them. Crouching down, Fallpetal prepared for Tinderpaw's signal when to strike. I count on you...

Tinderpaw tried to franticly think of how they would catch the birds without having them just fly out the top of the bush... Suddenly an idea came to his head and he quickly turned around and climbed up the val of the tree behind him, crawling out onto the lowest branch. Two birds flew away and made him freeze before realizing the rest where still there, still time left. He positioned himself above them, paws ready. He signalled to fallpetal to scare them and hopefully their flight path would lead up to him

Following her apprentice with her gaze, Fallpetal couldn't help but blink in wonder as Tinderpaw signaled her to go for the birds. What is he exactly going to do? she wondered before returning her attention back to the birds. Letting out a silent sigh, Fallpetal set herself ready and without a warning she unsheathed her claws and with a hiss attacked forward towards the pack of birds. By this the birds of course sprang up in the air, flying in panic away from the white-and-tortoiseshell she-cat. Fallpetal shifted her gaze upwards, her eyes burning in curiosity what Tinderpaw would do next.

Tinderpaw watched the blur of panicked birds flutter up to him and he reached his paws out to smack them back down to the ground. hopefully they would be dazed and Fallpetal could catch them from there. He swatted three down as two others flew by him calling alarms into the sky. A slower fourth one popped out of the bush and tinder paw lunged to catch it in his jaws. He balked gingerly on a thin part of the branch and grabbed his balance again before beginning to climb back down butt first.

Seeing how Tinderpaw knocked few birds out from their senses, Fallpetal didn't hesitate but instead leaped forward and snapped down the first one by its spine. The next one she swiped hard on the air that she managed to get it unable to fly and on a next moment she sprang forward biting down its spine while dropping her first dead bird. As she was done, she turned her head towards the third time. But before the white-and-tortoiseshell she-cat could react, she saw how the bird opened up its wings and flew away. Following it by her lime green gaze, Fallpetal let out a short sigh but smiled afterwards. Two is always better than nothing!
"Good job!" Fallpetal mewed as Tinderpaw padded up to her and smiled down at her apprentice. "Wonderful and creative work!"

After cheering her apprentice over his smart idea, Fallpetal gave him a brief friendly nudge on his shoulder. "Well then"-, Fallpetal started after a short pause and had a moment of thinking before continuing her sentence: "I assume we shall burry this prey for further pick and after that try and make one more catch for the day?"

Turning her attention to her apprentice once again as she had gave a good look around their surroundings, Fallpetal tilted her head in wonder and she couldn't help but smile briefly by amusement over her apprentice's question. "My favorite catch? she echoed Tinderpaw's question and tilted her head on her other shoulder for a moment, thoughtful look on her face. "I really like mice or black birds, I assume both goes into my favorite catches" Fallpetal replied after a while she had gave some thought over his question. Starting to walk some direction from where they were standing, Fallpetal took couple of steps ahead before she returned her attention back to her apprentice. "How so?" she asked, the amused expression still on her face.

The large grass in the area would be ideal hiding places for mice. "maybe here?" he suggested. it would be hard to find them without making to much noise through the tall dry grass but it would be good experience. not every catch would be easy

Noticing how challenging area her apprentice was about to pick, Fallpetal turned her attention towards Tinderpaw. "Are you really sure that you want to try this?" the she-cat asked while her lime green gaze was fixed on Tinderpaw. The light in her eyes glittered by hint of amusement and her gaze softened some after returning her gaze back ahead to the grassy field that the brown apprentice was going to hunt in. "But sure, you can give it a try!" she added after a brief silence and smirked as she got an idea. "Okay Tinderpaw. If you manage to make a catch here, then you don't need to clean the elders' den today", she mewed, her tone being filled with playful challenge.

Tinderpaw gave her a playful smile. "Ok! Looks like I wont be cleaning then" he joked and looked into the field, trying to determine how he would tackle this tricky task.. "Are you going to watch or join me?" He asked lightly before stalking along the edge of the tall grass

Fallpetal casted her apprentice 'are you serious' -face and then shook her head. "If I gave you a nice reward if you complete this task, I'm sorry Tinderpaw but I am going to watch and see how you can get through from this tricky mission", the white-and-tortoiseshell she-cat replied to the tom's question and sat down on there where she were. "So good luck Tinderpaw!" she mewed after she had made herself comfortable there where she was sitting.

Tinderpaw smiled and shrugged "worth a try"
he chuckled and turned back to his target.
He began to try and silently travel through the
grass but it ruffled noisily as it parted for his path.
'hm this won't work' he thought and decided to use
a stake out technique. He found a small small patch
where the grass was shorter and snuggled tightly
to the ground. He hoped his pelt would make
him look like an ant hill or something of the sorts.
He waited and waited and waited. hopefully a mouse
would be looking for a meal in this place somewhere...

Following Tinderpaw with her gaze, Fallpetal lifted up her other front paw and began to groom it. After couple of licks she drew her paw across her ear and repeated the progress while glancing over at Tinderpaw's direction.

Tinderpaw could see movement all around him. 'they're in here! i just know it… but why won't they come any closer?' he thought frustratedly. He decided he wasn't going to wait any longer and as soon as a scuffling mouse got four tail lengths away from his he shot forward and did his best to catch the prey in his claws. The long, dry grass blades struck his face and one caught him in the eye before he could catch his prey. It scurried away with a loud squeak and he was left to blink out the tear in his eye. He reluctantly trudged back to where fallpetal was waiting and looked at his paws after she saw he had nothing. "guess i get to take care of the elders then' he half chuckled and licked his paw to draw it over his eye.

"You think you have given up?" the white-and-tortoiseshell warrior asked and giggled shortly before nudging Tinderpaw's shoulder with her other front paw. "If you want and try to catch a mouse, we can go and check from somewhere else?" Fallpetal offered as she stood up, her lime green gaze on her apprentice. "And don't you worry about the den~ I bet you will get a denmate or two to help you out!" she added before she started to move again to another direction.
