Description
It almost feels like tradition that I mainly draw something for Life-Under-the-Trees during the spring for some reason...
Oh well! At least I'm still active/hanging on the only roleplay group I'm part of and to be honest, even if I do become inactive there at times (mainly because of University) I really enjoy being part of it still and the people I've even befriended with~
So...
This was something that extended into drawing worth of five days even though the first three days I worked on this were more or less around 1-3 hours sessions each. The reason for my slow pace at start was because I was visiting my home, I didn't spend that much time on my laptop 
But I'm glad I finally got this done regardless!
I was first going to leave this picture only as Sunflower (pale creamy she-cat with golden -colored patches) and Sunflare (ginger-and-white tabby tom) but I thought it wouldn't have the same impact without some background characters so... Onto the four characters I went with 
It was honestly nice to work with more characters as it gives more context on the bit of roleplay this bit is based on~
I'll be brutally honest, ever since one of my really good friend left LUtT and after than another close friend of mine, Sunflower kind of lost her purpose for me...
I was very close planning on killing her as I couldn't find enough motivation to keep her alive or active much anymore as her soft-spoken personality didn't strike to me the same way it did before but as I was going through possible outcomes for her story arc I stumbled across Sunflare's application and... I decided to ask Hannah for a roleplay with these two, just to see can I work around with Sunflower's character anymore.
Holy sweet joy of roleplaying, I actually found her a purpose through that roleplay which I thought wouldn't recover her much as a character and I'm honestly glad I pulled off that chance
(And special shout out for Hannah being awesome roleplayer and baring with Sunflower's depressing backstory~)
So roughly (over?) one year later and about six to seven individual roleplays behind between these characters, Sunflower found a new purpose on her life and has switched Clans from BirchClan to PineClan 
I am very curious to see how her life will play out and I'm glad this couple is sailing yet...still trying to be as secretive as possible!

|| SunFlare glanced around curiously at every little sound that entered his ears before hearing her reply, to which he nodded and hummed quietly to himself. || "Yeah, it'll take us a minute to get back there. It wont hurt us a bit to get a head start, and we should get right before other cats start to worry about where we're at." || The ginger-and-white tabby calculated, probably sounding smarter than he ever has in his entire life. Taking a moment to look at the LindenClan border-- not that he believed that PineClan's 'endless war' against LindenClan was appropriate or made any sense, he was just checking to be sure they werent being watched or something-- the tom turned towards the direction of camp, flicking his tail gently over her shoulder to alert her that he was beginning to go. ||
As his tail brushed against her shoulders, Sunflower's expression softened and she began to walk after him with a pace that she was keeping up with him with ease. Walking a while without saying a word, Sunflower took in the moment and inhaled some air releasing it as quietly as she had taken it into her lungs to begin with. The grass beneath her paw pads began to soon enough turn again mixture of grass and pine needles like it was around most of the places in their territory. "...Do you have any patrols tomorrow morning?" She asked, deciding to start off an easy conversation to make their walk back home more pleasant.
|| The weather was absolutely perfect at that moment, at least it was for SunFlare-- the bright yellow sun was shining down upon their humble lands, warming the ground and creating patterns through the pine needles that hung onto their branches, while a crisp, sharp wind would occasionally pass by, able to chill any cat easily. Then, it was almost like an apology as that burning ball of gas reheated you. It was lovely. Hearing her question, he hummed gently, trying to remember if he had a patrol or not. "I think I do. I'll have to check in with the leader or deputy, though, to make sure. What about you?" ||
"I haven't been informed about it yet." Sunflower replied with a quick glance at his direction and she continued with slightly joking manner: "I guess I am not going to be part any of the early morning patrols but probably later that day. At least I haven't been informed about having a free day of any sort, haha~"
|| Letting out a little 'Ah' of understanding, he nodded curtly in response to her being uninformed. || "Yeah, that makes sense. I only know because of my patrol being at dawn, so." || SunFlare filled her in, smiling gently. || "But, it'd be awesome if you did have a free day! Then, we'd have most of the day to just.. hang out! Be romantic, maybe, or act like kits." || He laughed genuinely, tilting his head upwards back a bit as he did so. It was nice to think about any sort of time spent with the she-cat-- every second with her was time well spent. ||
Smiling sweetly at the thought of them spending more time together, Sunflower sped up her pace just fast enough to get few steps ahead from Sunflare and stopping there, she waited until the ginger-and-white tabby tom was close enough. Once he was near by her reach again she stretched out her other front paw and lashed it playfully at him, patting his shoulder fur with it as it went past and let out a short giggle afterwards. "Aren't we kits already?" She asked with a short purr before getting back to heading towards the direction of the Camp.
|| The brightly colored tom hummed quietly to himself for a moment, not even paying attention to.. whatever the heck she was scheming up ahead of him. That is, until he felt a soft whack on his shoulder, which startled him enough to make him jump back a few inches. Once SunFlare realized what had just happened, his eyelids lowered just slightly, giving her an un-amused look, though he was fighting a smile. Lurching forwards, he returned the favor, one of his dainty paws cupping her ear for just a moment before he carried on, as if nothing ever happened. || "I suppose we are~"
With a smile firmly painted onto her face, Sunflower returned her attention back towards the direction they were heading at just to notice that the entrance of the camp was just exactly by their view. "Oh wow..." She breathed aloud before continuing her sentence as she realized Sunflare would probably be curious as of why she randomly muttered something aloud: "I didn't expect that the way back would go by so quickly." Just about fox length away from the PineClan's camp entrance the pale golden dappled she-cat stopped and turned to face Sunflare, her eyes filled with a hint of sadness as she suddenly realized that they needed to act more neutral once again before they could be on their own. Without saying a word, Sunflower leaned over and brushed her muzzle against his, closing her bright yellow eyes for a moment as she drained in his scent before breaking away from her nuzzle and staring at him a while longer. "...Oh yeah, what about Lynxfur? Are you going to talk with him?" She asked carefully as the memory of the brothers fighting earlier that day returned back to her mind.
|| His eyes squinted a tad once they reached the camp-- er, rather, were in close proximity to it. Same difference. Her voice had surprised him a touch, yes, but he could understand why she said anything at all at the sight of their home. SunFlare's lion-like tail lowered with disappointment, along with his ears, though it wasnt by a lot. Looking to the pale yellow she-cat made him feel a little better, though-- it wasnt like they were forbidden to see each other anymore, though it did cost them that cute, romantic couple vibe, especially now that they were officially mates. Returning the affectionate gesture of grazing their muzzles, he sighed, shrugging gently, his yellow eyes showing worry within them. || "I.. I dont know if I will or not. I really need to, I know that for a fact. I just dont want to get shouted at by him again. I mean, he's scary, like, all the time." || The bright ginger tabby chuckled gently at the end of his statement, trying to diffuse the tense atmosphere that was suddenly enclosing them. Huffing rather obnoxiously, he took another few steps forward, however reluctant they were. || "Either way, we'll have to get back in there before the others start arranging search parties."
Sunflower listened carefully as Sunflare went ahead and gave his response to her. Deciding not to push or pressure him any more about the topic, she let the ginger-and-white tabby tom to take the lead towards the camp. "Yeah... That definitely wouldn't be nice", she mewed in an agreeing manner as Sunflare did his mention about the search patrols and gave one last look around their surroundings before seeing how her mate passed into the PineClan's camp entrance. It will get easier... Sunflower reassured herself before ducking into to camp after him.
|| The tabby entered the camp as normally as he could, his fluffier tail-tip flicking every now and then as he examined their surroundings. Nothing much has seemed to happen while they were off, except now his brother was off in a corner, speaking to that one she-cat.. what was her name? SmokeStep? He was pretty sure that was correct, but he couldnt help but start to feel a bit tense about it. So, LynxFur was going to rant to him about being in love, while he's off making moves? Please! || "I'll just talk to him later. He's a bit busy right now, it looks like." || While SunFlare was saying he 'was a bit busy', he made sure that it was spoken in disdain for his much larger sibling, and he just grumbled to himself as he sat himself near the entrance. || "Once he's done over there, I'll say something, see what he will say. I dont understand what the problem is, anyways! It's not like you're in a different Clan anymore."
Following after him, Sunflower followed Sunflare's gaze as soon as his yellow eyes locked onto his target that happened to be his brother. Flicking her other ear the pale yellowish ginger dappled she-cat followed the ginger-and-white tabby where he went ahead and sat down but instead of sitting down, she mewed: "I suppose some things are easier to swallow than others... I mean I'm still on used to being stung by the pine needles covering almost the entire forest floor!" Trying to light up the mood a bit with her last comment Sunflower added some comedic effect by lifting her other front paw up and frankly shaking it with a playful "ow!". "Like how you PineClan born warriors can even stand these things?" She asked keeping up her more playful attitude in hopes that Sunflare would catch on to it as well.
|| The lanky tom's yellow orbs followed her, easily keeping him distracted and also pushing the negative thoughts downwards for the time being. As she ranted on about the pine needles that would fall onto the ground constantly, SunFlare couldnt help but begin chuckling and smiling, finding it rather amusing how she still wasnt used to them. || "Well, I mean, we seem to have thicker and rougher paw pads compared to the other Clans. Maybe that's how we can more or else ignore them." || The ginger tabby shrugged before bending over and giving her a swift affectionate lick to the top of her paw, before swooping back up, knowing that they were still in camp and they had to be quiet about 'them'. || "I think you'll toughen up in time, SunFlower~."
