*** Etsy *** Tumblr *** FAQ *****Hats do not cover eyes. The model head is made smaller than the average human head. This causes the hat to cover the eyes and parts of the face that it will not on a person.**

More Hats
I know I said the last hat was my last one for Halloween but I got inspired and made this. What can I say....
Extra large ears that have no wire in them and stand on their own. The ears also have realistic ribbing in them. The wings are much large than on my other bat hats. The wings also move around as you walk. This hat is so much fun to wear!

I clicked the "purchase here" link, and it just loops me back here. This seems to be a DA issue.
Edit: This is really fantastic, by the way! I'm so used to seeing "bat" hats that are more like the generic ones, but this one has some really distinct bat character on those ears! Moreover, you actually made the ears to stand up! I purchased one from someone else a while back, and they just flop around, wings equally lifeless. Awesome job here.

Ah, sory about the link. That was actually my fauly. If you like the larger "Etsy Purchase Here" it should would fine.
I have a more generic cutsie bat hat but I really wanted to make something more extreme and realistic. I use special material inside the ears and wings to allow them to say standing, no wire in there since that can get really uncomfortable. I am a little OCD about having my large ears actually stand. What is the point of such large ears if they just flop down?!

My thoughts exactly on the ears, and it must have been a real trick to get them to stand stiff, especially considering that toques are so floppy by nature. Yeah, I saw your other bat ears, and there's nothing wrong at all with them. XD I'm just so in love with this more realistic design with the ribbing details. It's rare, I guess because the generics are quicker to make for demand. This looks like it SHOULD be more expensive for all the extra work.

Eh, just some fabric magic XD That was the main reason I decided to make it. I know my other bats are more reminiscent of simplified fruit bats and I wanted to make something for the insect eating species. So, it is still a "fantasy" bat since I didn't base the ears on a particulate species and instead took what I liked from a few and combined them to make a cuter but still definitely bat hat. It is a good deal more work. The large standing ears are actually hard to do than most people expect them to be. I think everyone expect me to just put wire in them.
